It's payback time!
It is a good option for Rasho. He wanted to be on a team for which he still had the opportunity to contribute but that also had a chance to compete for a championship. Hopefully, the team can get back to the Euroleague Final Four again this upcoming season. The coach really wanted Rasho, too, and that is always a good sign. He could have stayed in the NBA if he did not care for whom or where he played or if he sat on the bench all season, but he missed the chance to be on a team that had a real chance to win.

In Greece each team can only have 3 Bosman players (this means Europeans who are not Greek) on the roster. So with Rasho having Greek citizenship when they sign him they thought of course he will not count against this so they could sign other foreign European players if they want.
Funny thing is the sports federation waited until after he signed before telling the club they would count him as a foreign player as punishment that he did not serve yet in the army like he is supposed to.
There's no D in Slovenia.

First Rasho quit, now Lorbeks and Smodiš, Udrih who is 1000000000000000000000000000000000X better than ovič is sent home and we all know the Vujacic case. I also don't know why is there some guy like Cebular even in the squad if we could pick Joksimovič or even Ariel McDonald who's like 40 years old and is still better than that piece of . LOL @ Slokar and Rizvič. Vidmar also sucks, but I gues he's better than those two. Why is there no Pavič in the team, who is much better than the bosnian Rizvič. I'm just saying that if this team would have a coach that is good and is not from our country, all of the good players would play, even Rasho. A real coach could also bring Preldzic back who thinks he should play for Bosnia. that, lets rather give Bosnia our center duo of Rizvič and Begič. Now, those two can go there where they belong.
And LOL at Jagodnik... Hahahaha, he's 36 or something and he's on the team just cause he's a fighter and he's experienced. Hahahaha, my friends are also fighters when it comes to basketball, but if you've got no talent then you suck and so does Jagoda. And experienced my ass. The guy's just old and he sucks.

LOL @ Lakovič cause he's Ricky Rubio's and he plays 5 minutes for his club and now he can be our first play.

What have you expected? Lower your expectations. Without Rasho, Smodis and Lorbek we have nothing of quality under the rim.
Anything better than 4th place in our group will be sucess.
Best days of Slovenian basket are over. Our golden generation was ed up, when KZS (= Šešok) didn't want to pay decent national coach (= Tanjević for instance).
Rizvic is not only completely worthless, he's a guaranteed net plus for opposing team when he's out there. Only thing he knows is how to make offensive and defensive fauls and miss defensive rotations - oh and he's also tall... too bad my grandmother can jump higher than him.
I don't know if I mentioned this already but...

Hey, we had Zupan in the starting lineup, so I guess not everything was bad, right?
Lack of talent is no excuse for not trying, especially on the defensive end.
Zoran Dragič and Dino Murič are the last cuts from the team (as expected).

We have a pretty nice schedule on the WC:
First game against Tunisia, then a rest day, then a game against Croatia, a rest day and then a game against Brazil and final game against Iran b2b, hopefully we secure top 4 finish in the group before the last game.
LOL, you consider the game against the US to be a "rest day"? I suppose tactically it would be a good thing to do, but I doubt it will happen. Unless you expect to expect us to get blown out heavily in the first half already which is possible I guess.
Every time i start thinking there might be a 1% chance we could be compe ive against USA, i remember: we have Rizvič coming of the bench..., and the rest are not much better either
Let's go team! A bad start is not so bad if we redeem ourselves with a great tournament. It could happen.
