    ^This

This is why Barkley is the MAN! He says what he wants, when he wants, without fear of repercussion. Besides, he only telling the truth. Bron gets his ass kissed every day of his life. Anyway what the is 'Bron gonna do to the Chuckster.

Takin' mental notes, huh? Well, I'm just shivering in my Air Jordan's. If he wasn't such a punk-ass, why is he running from the media and refusing to do answer questions from the press? He made his decision, now live with the consequences.

Barkley's translation: " I'll kick your little punk ass...ohh and Wade's too if he wants some."

Barkley called it right...all that showboating and dancing in Miami the July celebration when they haven't won was pretty ing out there...

Finally Chuck get's it right Cyanora to those ass Verizon commercials with Wade...

I don't get how a FA leaving for a better team and taking less money is a punk move? I think "The Decision" was an immature way to announce it, but the changing of teams itself is nothing. I cannot believe people have a beef with that.

Look at who we are talkin about: Laker Fans - Paranoid Schizophrenics who claim everyone outside of L.A. hates the Lakers, claim Kobe is going to surpass MJ, and are obsessed with LeBron because Kobe's time is creeping away.

Kobe would have left as well if he was stuck in a basketball hole. Kobe made sure, even before he had proven anything that he did not play in a crappy city. He forced his way to LA.

He does not have to leave because he can throw a fit and force LA to get great players. That was not going to happen in CLE. I just don't get that hate on him leaving. I can see hating on the way it went down, but not the move itself.

It's because people regarded lebron as an amazing talent, someone who could even challenge jordan's legacy.

    Now they know better.

How is him being an immature guy change how good he is? Is Kobe's legacy tainted because he pouts and throws teammates under the bus in order to get the most stacked team the NBA?

Is it tainted because with comparable talent to Lebron, Kobe got bounced in the first round and missed the playoffs while Lebron went to the finals?

It's because LeBron needed to join TWO other superstars, and is not even the best player on his team anymore

You misunderstood me. The perception was lebron is the type of guy to lead a team to multiple les as the number 1 guy. That's how talented he is. He could have challenged for top 5/3 status of all time.

Instead he chose this......basically limiting himself to being just under top 10 of all time, at best.

Lebron is the best player on his team. He joined one other superstar, because Bosh is not a superstar.

Kobe, when he had Shaq had just as good of a superstar and a better supporting cast. Now, from top to bottom, Kobe has just as much talent as MIA, especially before MIA made these moves. Kobe stacked the deck for the last two years.

I know players join up in different fashions (FA, trades, ...), but all that matters in this argument is how much "help" Kobe or Lebron need to win. Obviously Kobe needed just as much as Lebron apparently needs, but that does not taint his legacy.

It's not lebron's team....and that's all that matters. People are gonna remember he took the easy way out....could have joined Chicago where he would have had a very good team as the clear cut number 1 guy, where instead he chose to join 2 superstars(sorry, Bosh is considered a superstar in today's league).

It's also a different scenario with kobe. He wasn't an established player when Shaq joined in. Lebron is the reining mvp. Different case altogether.

What about this current Laker team? Kobe was missing the playoffs all together before "The Radio Tour".

It's Wade's city, but Lebron is the best player on the team.

Bull that Bosh isnt a superstar. How much did Bosh get paid in Miami? How much did Lebron? Was Bosh the franchise player in Toronto?

Lebron set up himself up to leave Cleveland and masterminded 3 superstars getting together IN THIER PRIMES. You're starting to sound like HarlemHeat.

Bosh is not a superstar. He is a very, very good player, but to call him a super star is a stretch in my opinion. I think there are very few "super stars". Bosh is a questionable 1st option, a very good 2nd option and a fantastic 3rd option.

How is Lebron setting himself up to leave a basketball hole in CLE and doing it in an immature way different than Kobe going on a national radio tour embarrassing his franchise and throwing his teammates under the bus in order to get the most stacked team possible because he could barely make the playoffs with a mediocre supporting cast?

To be fair...Kobe might have went nutz, but he still stayed and got two rings.

Lebron simply kept quiet and planned his way to the Heat. Which is good for me!

    GO HEAT!!

That is what it appears Lebron wants. If he could have accomplished that by staying in CLE and drawing players to him, he would have. Kobe was fortunate enough to stay in LA and draw players because of the franchise.

I am not hating on Kobe for that, simply pointing out the hypocrisy.

Please. No one was winning with that Cavs team. Watch how bad they are next season. If you take Kobe off LA, they won't win a le, but they would fare much better than the Cavs next season.

I disagree considering he is the best player in the NBA, he is still young and he just now has as much talent around him as Kobe does. I don't think he quit. You can't throw up triple doubles and block shots and get that many steals and get to the line that much if you are quitting.
