Lakerfan goal of the day: Must keep insecurities high at all times
There is a chance he's right, but I hate to hear it coming from that deadbeat dad mother er.
Lakers cannot and will not beat the Heat. No matter what you dumbass mutha as's say.
Wishful thinking isn't going to stop the 3peat. Sorry.
Agreed. Heat are kings until proven otherwise.
Yeah, the Heat are the early 2000s Kings until proven otherwise. Great ing comparison actually.
lol a team led by Webber compared to a team led by Wade, Lebron, and Bosh? You laker fans are delusional.
All Malone needed was more reasons why...and well these are 12 universally accepted reasons why the es in Heat won't win until Kobe hangs it up.
1. No Interior Defense - Bosh is a soft defensive player. They have no interior muscle. In the playoffs, it's all about defense and rebounding, two of which the Heat desperately lack.
2. No Point Guard Defense - Now the Heat can resolve this issue by playing Wade at the point. That means their bench will really suck.
3. Not a Good Supporting Cast - When either Lebron or Wade goes out, their perimeter defense becomes extremely soft. Carlos Arroyo, Jamaal Magloire, Joel Anthony are not exactly role players on a championship team. The Lakers are much deeper next season.
4. Inexperienced Coach - in the Playoffs, it's mostly about making adjustments, and that's all on the the head coach. Plus, Spoelstra is Filipino. There's no way a Filipino can hold a championship trophy. It's too unAmerican.
5. Lebron James - Lebron is just not a winner. When the going gets tough, Lebron pouts and falters. That's the Lebron's way and will ultimately be his legacy.
6. Powerful Laker role players - Andrew Bynum, Derek Fisher, Lamar Odom, Steve Blake and Matt Barnes, Shannon Brown, Derick Chracter
7. No Team Chemistry – National teams and Allstar teams aside every team sport requires some amount of team chemistry, and what the Heat are assembling at this point isn't much (if any) chemistry at all.
8. They're All No. 1 Guys and with ego’s- (just see the Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony experiment) there’s only one ball and points will be cut down
9. Kobe is Still Kobe – He showed the world that he’s still the best to play the game after players such as LeBron, Wade, and Bosh were sent packing for home. Not only did he prove he still has some gas left in the tank, he was personified by many as the best active player the game has to offer.
10. Heat Introduces Miami Thrice to a Packed Arena. - With fanfare and bravado on full display in front of their rabid fan base. It’s obvious this can only end one way. Horribly. With all three morons on display for their fans, the media and the players themselves have all but presumed they will be playing for and winning the NBA le every year. They forgot les are earned and not bought.
11. Injuries - If One Player in Miami Goes Down There Will be No Cap Room. – Last year Gasol missed roughly the first 16 games of the season, then Kobe went down and Lakers went on a winning streak, next Artest was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis and played with it the whole second half of the season, finally Bynum went down with major knee injury and LA still won the le. All because of the deepness of the team. Can’t say the same for Miami.
12. Finally Pressure Will Take A Toll on Miami Having to Play The Regular Season Like an NBA Playoff Game - The pressure will get to this team about midway through the season and I suspect they will crack completely.
and as far as Van Gundy picking the heat and all the other he said...let me explain something to you about the art of war. Jeff Van Gundy is a big supporter of his brother Stan. He didn't pick the Heat in good faith in fact he did so only to purposely put a target on the Heat's back and to make them feel the pressure because he knows their young, full of ego, and mentally vulnerable to cracking... Nice Job Jeff...
so when miami fans create threads b4 the season starts "the lakers are done and type things to make them feel better kobe has knee surgery yesss!!! or spur fans type things discrediting kobe..lakers bailouts..cheated with trades....etc after seasons over whats that???...
No surprises here, Malone just giving props to the best run NBA organization ever.
I agree, the Heat are still the underdogs. If the Lakers lose to the Heat with HCA as the 2x defending champs...smh.
Heat have done nothing to show they are a championship team.
no it ain't no links.... is just feelings like your response....one sided ass point of view .....enjoy!!
morally reprehensible about lakers is valid lol classic
I don't get it. When you have 2 premier stars in Lebron and Wade, you got nightmares for other teams. Who wants to face against this duo, and I didn't even mention Bosh yet. Teams must be wetting their beds knowing that they have to compete with this team in their schedule. Watch out Michael Jordan, this Heat team could be for real!
