Navy Blue??? It looks more like purple to me... Looks like their old unis from the early Malone/Stockton days
those are badass. not going to lie. the old school look is a lot better and at least they didn't go back to the one's with the mountains on them![]()
I hate to give props to the hated Jazz, but those are the best jerseys in the league, hands down.
You mean the old Utah Jazz jersies.
It doesn't say Utah (but the logo doesn't have it, either), the cut of the jersey around the neck is different, there's detailing under the arms, and the numbers are a different color. The away jersey has different color for the logo (white instead of Gold), which I don't think is an improvement. That's about the only differences I find.
BTW, the numbers look horrible, especially on the away jersies.

I didn't mind these at all. The Purple moutains were ugly. But this is for the local fans, if they wanted their colors back, more power to them. I just happen to think that a small update of these with the new colors would've been fine.
What's with the shading of the logo on the aways? That is ugly! Seeing that up-close, I'd rather have their previous incarnations back. They were classic-looking. Stick the new logo (unshaded) where it says Utah and play the games. That looks like a four-year-old drew up the color design.
The Jazz have always had better away jersies than home. Until now.
Well, they still have blue and not Royal purple. That should give you nightmares.
Disagree. Those are so damn generic. They weren't as flat-out lame as the mountain scheme, but those jersey's were boring as .
These new ones are dope. I agree that the numbers would look better if they had a different color around the borders, but I really like how the home jerseys have green numbers contrasted with the logo.
Other than the numbers looking amateur, I think these jerseys are as good as any in the league, if not the best. And yeah, there's not a local fan out there who didn't want them. Thank god I can wear Jazz gear again. It's been a long time.
The numbers are tight, especially on the home jersey.
They're decent. I love the home numbers. IMO the yellow road numbers look better with a white border ala that Malone pic above, but whatever, they're sick regardless.
not bad .... just represent the clothing they'll be wearing when they become the Lakers es yet again ......
There is nothing like vintage jerseys
Those are amazing

Lol notice how neither even mentions Boozer:
Seems like there starting to practice that first week in September to get the chemistry down
I LOVED the 1997-1998 Jazz jerseys...
I was also a fan of the 90's Suns' jerseys...
The 2009 Jazz jerseys are OK, but like a previous poster stated, quite generic. The ones they are going to for the 2010-2011 season are interesting. Not bad, but a far cry from the Jazz' best jerseys from 1998...
You're kidding, right? Those mountain purple jersey's were the worst in franchise history. The black/copper alternates we wore back then were the only decent jersey's from 97 to 2004.
Sons they may as well add Mardi Gras colors to them as well. Come on Mormons get your own style. At least. During the Malone/Stockton era in the 90's they chaned the logo to those mountains.
