yeah, The Format is a classic
Couple tracks I've listened to recently...
Always underrated:
Maybe not as good as "I Got It Made" but still pretty catchy and ahead of its time:
yeah, The Format is a classic
usually anything AZ is a classic
disagree..The Recovery is pretty damn decent.
Beamin' is better than anything on the radio, right now.
Is anyone else listening to Big K.R.I.T.? His mixtape is pretty damn good, he reminds me of a mixture of Pimp C, David Banner & 'Ye. He has a lot of potential, I'm hoping that Def Jam promotes and markets him properly.
for some news, j.cole's cole world drops on 10/26. oh, and i'm downloading Kanye's new G.o.o.d ass mixtape that came out today.. the limited feedback on it so far seems to be pretty positive.. 30 tracks total- you can download it all over the internet .should be decent for a slow monday
More new Kid Cudi:
Funny idea for a freestyle
coles album will be ing fire...this dude seriously reminds me of a younger nas. People are sleeping on him..

yeah, I don't get how he hasn't blown up yet, his mixtape stuff is better then pretty much everyone out there dropping studio albums
I think that he hasnt blown up yet because he hasnt put out a single that is mainstream for the garbage radio. His first single ' who dat' didnt catch enough buzz...but i think lights please would of been a better single than who dat. Its sad that these days in order to blow up youp have to make a mainstream song. Cole says in alot of interviews that he is not making a song that is not him. If he were to make a mainstream song just to get that status I would still support him either way. Also his album he saiid is having NO features on it..that tells me he has alot to say. Cant wait for the album.
Lights Please got him some pub tbh. And hes bigger then alot of people here are giving him credit for. Most rap fans know who he is.
yeah i know what you mean, i have sirius satellite radio and he gets played pretty often now on hip hop nation which is awesome, October is so far I can't wait.
been out a few months, but good from murs & 9th wonder

more new J Cole
everytime i try to post the youtube video i fail lol
I like mixing vinyl, digital or whatever most of the stuff coming out of the East Coast is like nowadays. I miss the day of guys like Premiere and Tony Touch but some of the stuff I have been turned onto here like JMT is good .
What I really like are guys that take Roland products and write beats that sound best when pumped into a 15" woofer with a few hundred watts . The first rap album I had was Too Short Dog in the House.
The south has been the best at it for the last 25 years. Too Short, Geto Boys, 2Pac, Triple 6 Mafia, Slim Thug, Bone Thugs, Ludacris and Lil' Wayne have done it for song after song.
Outkast did for their first few albums. Big Boi brought it back. Most of Sir Luscious Left Foot hits hard but this one hits hard as . I love jammin this in my car.
Off a wonderful album- dope i'd recommend hearing for those sleeping on it
