Because it's a subject that interests me and because I'm a nerd. I do these things for FUN. I will post the analysis here, as I did for the religion survey I did about a year ago.

I scratched my head on this one:

"I would never want to have to hire or fire someone."

I did it for you, and I only had to use "other" once. On the parent's college experience. Mom got a bachelors, Dad got a bachelors and masters.

The choices on how college was paid for were too rigid. Most people end up using a combination of funding sources...example, parents, loans, work.

The idea was to simply separate people who had to receive any kind of loans, or grants, from people whose family was able to pay out of pocket, from people who paid their way to college...

In regards to parents' education: I should have made it more clear. I was looking for simply whether people's parents had any undergraduate college education.

Ah, ok, the way the first choice was worded (if I remember, and understood correctly) it seemed as if it was saying both parents had both an undergrad and grad degree.

I am sorry if it looks like I am trying to be nitpicky, I am not. That is why you put "other" on there after all.

No brainer for me. I don't like to be in control of other people. Some people love that power.

I know what you're saying, but doesn't it feel much different to hire someone than to fire someone?

I've hired somebody. It felt good. Eventually I'll have to fire them. It will suck.

I'm sure it does, but in hiring someone, you have that thought that maybe you made the bad choice. Then now with 100 or so applicants per job, feeling sorry you had to say no to the others.

but not nearly as bad as laying someone off. Having to tell someone that they did nothing wrong, but they have to be laid off for financial reasons is just horrible.

Even having to fire someone because they are not good at their job is not easy, but having to do it because a corporation says 'we need to downsize'
    is the worst.

for parent(s) jobs, there should have been a Military choice. I thought about choosing "government employee (post office, mass transit, etc)... but no, not the same at all.

lots of people grow up in military families. I had to choose Other on that one.

Me too. I was going to say no because I don't WANT to fire someone but then I reread it and took it meant to have that responsibility and I would love that opportunity.

yes, good point. I left off military. It was an oversight. Ironic, for someone growing up in San Antonio...
