I mostly like the classic stuff:

Deep Purple - in rock and machine head
Black Sab - first, paranoid, or vol 4
    Led Zep - I, II & IV
Pink floyd - either dsotm or wywh
acdc - let there be rock, and maybe powerage
    wishbone ash - argus
    zz top - tres hombres
    judas priest - sad wings
    motorhead - overkill
    blackmore's rainbow - rainbow rising

I like a of a lot of music, but off the top of my head, at one point or another I was slavishly devoted to each of the following:

^--- I like bob dylan, but I haven't heard blood on the tracks. I've had other people tell me it was great too. I remember seeing it in the cutout bins back when records were around, but I never bought it.

As an album, it is just perfect. I mean perfect. And as a Dylan album specifically, it's his most authentic and personal recording. Disregarding jazz, maybe the greatest record of the 20th century, IMO.

Can't either confirm or argue that point. "Blue Bell Knoll" and "Heaven or Las Vegas" are, for whatever reason, the only of their albums I own, so it's been years since I've listened to "Treasure."

Are you on a moral high ground and choose not to illegally download albums or have you just not thought about it?

No moral high ground when it comes to music. Just behind. My iPod is almost overflowing and all downloading has been put on hold until I decided whether or not to replace it.

How many is gigs is it? I have a 16 gigabyte iTouch and have over 50 gigs of music. I just manually select the artists I want transfered over to my iPod.

You can also download Winamp or Foobar since they are both better than iTunes.

After a pelican attacked me, I'm afraid of leaving the house. Since I am not gainfully employed, I do not have the funds to purchase music legally.

It's a 30GB iPod ("classic," now, but still just an iPod when I bought it).

There are already a few albums that aren't on the iPod (oddball stuff like "Songs in the Key of Springfield") but I'm really quite greedy about wanting to have all my music at my disposal at all times. To me, that's the best part of having an iPod.

At this point, I'm patient enough to wait until an iTouch comes out with enough storage that I won't fill it up within a couple of months (as I would with the 64GB that's currently available).

I acknowledged it at the outset, didn't I?

I'd be the last person to defend them as being a good (or, even more laughable, great) band, but I'll be damned if their first two albums aren't enjoyable when you're looking for something mellow and inoffensive.
