What resolution you have?
My desktop which goes unused has a 22 inch monitor with better than 1200p but yeah, I'm jealous too.
I still don't get why you people think a 17" laptop at 1920 x 1200 is a waste of resolution. I get pegged as having super eyes, when I see nothing abnormal. I guess the reason the same ones of you are so unethical, is because you are incapable of reading the the Bible The words are too small. Too much resolution placed on a piece of paper for you to read. At around 80 lines per page and a page height of only 8"... That's about right for 1200 pixels high. A 17" wide-screen would be about 9-1/2" high.

So far so good. The speed is amazing compared to my old laptop, I don't have to wait 5 minutes for windows to load no more, and after getting used to win7, it's pretty cool.
Only problem I've had so far is to wake up and find out that the laptop went into hibernation mode, and won't start whenever I tried to turn it on. Solved it by taking out the power cord and it started fine, but I'll be keeping watch just in case this problem reappears.

If you can read a paperback, then you can appreciate that resolution on a laptop.

We are prejudiced in life everyday. Some things more than others. Some deal with prejudging people, and not always by race, but by how they carry themselves, the cloths they wear, etc.

Yes, this started when I said I would buy a laptop when I could find one under a $1000 that had 1920 x 1200 resolution.
I'm amazed at how many people think it's a 1080P, enhanced somehow. Less amazed that some think it's a waste of money, but completely stunned that nobody seems to understand the practicality for some applications. Like when I bought my new computer. It was pointed out I could have bought more for the same money, but I'm happy with my choice. Super clean design, tool-less parts exchange, large Barracuda drive, no free stupid programs installed, etc. It's a professional series computer, not a poor quality cut rate computer that likely has extra wait-states to access the memory.
Anyway...
What do you think of wanting the 1920 x 1200 resolution on a 17" laptop?
