Somehow the kid survived.

To bad he didn't die.
My guess is that he was trying to reach optimum speed to get back to the future.
Saw that this morning. That DFW footage a few months ago looked like something out of the Dukes of Hazard. This one looks like something out of the Burnout games.
idiot.
Damn. He must be a fan of Hooper.
No doubt hopped up on something. He's incredibly lucky that he hit the bridge with his right rear quarter panel as opposed to head-on or left side, either of which would have probably killed him instantly.
He did it to avoid the ticket...is my guess.
He was trying to imitate ice cube from xxx 2
depending on how he comes out, if he does, he may wish he died...
quadriplegic, paralyzed, whatever, whatever...
Imagine if he hadn't hit the bridge and jumped onto the oncoming traffic on the other side?
I think everybody else is lucky that dumbass didn't kill anyone
True, glad nobody else was hurt.
For someone to say too bad he did not die is wrong and needs to rethink that statement. Kids do stupid things, but speeding does not deserve a death sentence, and anyone who has kids would be devestated if their kid died in a car crash, even if they were acting foolish at the time.
And even more devastated if they killed someone else.
Update:
Police: Teen Was Arrested 1 Hour Before Crash
http://www.wlwt.com/news/24734083/detail.html
Beavercreek police issued a release Tuesday stating that Eden had been arrested at 6:13 a.m. on the morning of the crash. Officers said they found Eden with a 15-year-old girl in his car in a parking lot near the corner of Beaver Vu Drive and North Fairfield Road.Officers said Eden was found to be in possession of an unopened can of alcohol, a trace of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police said Eden was cooperative with officers and did not appear to be impaired."I think it's important to stress that throughout the course of the investigation, and his contact with Mr. Eden, at no time did the officer detect any alcohol or believe Mr. Eden was under the influence of alcohol," said Sgt. Jim Wuebben with Beavercreek police.Wuebben said Eden was given a summons to appear in court and was then released at 6:54 a.m.Damned good thing he apparently dropped the girl off before going on his tirade ...
About 20 minutes later, witnesses said Eden was passing other drivers at speeds of at least 100 mph. He crashed when he drove off the left side of the roadway while passing a Sugarcreek Township police car. The crash was caught on that officer's cruiser camera.
Really pure luck he didn't kill anyone. Hopefully being fully paralyzed is enough to keep him off the roads.
good luck getting another insurance policy, dumb
Talked to a friend who lives up in Ohio and she said the local news is saying he'll likely fully recover and that it could've been a suicide attempt.
Suicide attempt? couldn't this got just swallow some pills?
What an idiot! Jacked up a perfectly good car!
