that shouldnt even be counted as a no-no
I cant believe he has given up no hits. He still is walking guys like crazy leaving balls up in the zone and his pitch count is high as always.
that shouldnt even be counted as a no-no
took that sob out despite not giving up a hit....relief better not blow this lol

Washington took out Harden because he WANTS the team to get a no-no. I still give Harden about a 1% chance of getting it had he stayed in. I do think he should have been allowed to finish the inning however. But not more than that.
I understand Wash's decision but I would've done differently. Harden will likely only see spot up innings in the playoffs anyway
Just recently the same thing happened. A pitcher had a no-no through 7 innings, but was taken out of the game. The relief pitcher came in and gave up a hit to the first batter he faced.
I agree, he should have been able to at least finish the inning.
So i guess Wash is giving Oliver some time off since he has sucked ass since the ASB.
This teams needs a specialty lefty for the playoffs
I guess the silver lining would be that with all the no-no's this season it would be cool to have the only team no-hitter.
wowwww that was an intense first out.![]()
lets go baby. 3 more outs.
Feliz blows. He only has 1 pitch and thats all batters look for
I was at tonight's game and it was nice. The 9th inning was intense especially after that 1st out. I honestly thought that Joe Mauer was going to hit into a double play to end the game. I was that confident and sure that the Rangers were going to pull it off. And then, in' Joe Mauer gets a hit and the no hitter is gone. It sucks that the no hitter didn't happen but a win is a win and it was against a good team like the Twins. It's a shame that the crowd wasn't that big tonight. It was a little over 22,000 I think. The Rangers and Twins are fighting each other to get home field advantage in the first round.
Yeah a 21 year old all star closer who throws 100 mph blows![]()
Hey Eric, how come you are in here all the time but got no time to manage your team in Fantasy Baseball?

I'm glad the no-no ended against one of the best hitters in the Majors, and definitely the best hitter of the last four years in the AL (three batting les). I can live with that. It would have sucked if it ended against some bad hitter who just got lucky. Props to Mauer, the dude's a beast.
Excellent heads up base-running by Elvis to get a run home.
ESPN doesnt even know his name. They called him Neftali Perez like 4 times on sportscenter last night
Im starting to like Moreland at 1B
wow that was a huge escape.
Got out of the inning..nice...pisses me off that I can't watch this damn game. I don't know how many I've missed because of where I'm at...haven't been able to watch a game in a long time. Gamecast isn't bad..but it gets behind sometimes... ..
