Without sifting through all the BS in this thread, let me give OP some advice. Never let money get between friends. Friends buy meals for each other without counting pennies. Money is a gift between friends in hard times, not a loan. They don't solicit work out of each other for cash. A six-pack of beer is standard payment for manual labor help (like moving... or dishes and laundry in your case). If this dude is mooching, cut him off and stop ing about it.
