I thought the Rams should have taken Suh with their pick and pick up a QB like Michael Vick, but it looks like they made the right choice.
a good game last night
dude made good throws, handled pressure well, and seemed very calm and controlled. if he stays healthy, he will be a stud. even though he played for OU, he was one of my favorite players to watch in College

The biggest thing for me to see is how rooks run the offense. Do they look rattled/ confused burning TOs or calm/cool? It's one of the reasons I don't like Sanchez too much. He looks like he's going to cry when he messes up.
Bradford looked good, I just hope they can keep him upright and on the field. Losing Avery is going to hurt.
eh. lol.
How long is Donnie Avery out? I thought he was gonna have a good year.
he does a great job constantly keeping his eyes downfield. he doesnt seem like a guy who tends to rely on checkdowns too much, always looking for bigger yardage first. I like that.
I was also a Suh guy on draft day,but Sammy is the real deal. Watched the entire game the other night and came away very impressed. Bradford is soaking up the WCO like a sponge. He made multiple reads several times and (unlike some may think) NE was blitzing early and often......and Bradford made quick decisions and moved the chains. Awesome.
I look around the NFC West right now, looking at the other QB's,and IMO its pretty clear that Sammy B will likely be the best among the rest by seasons end....if not already.
Jumping the gun?...maybe but think about it for a minute....
SEATTLE
Hasselback? old & nearly done. Whitehurst? Come on now...
ARIZONA
Leinart has been demoted in favor of.....WHO?....Derek Anderson? LOL
SF
How many good games has Alex Smith put together since he was taken #1 overall four years ago? Even San Francisco isn't sure who they're guy is yet.
No the RAMS aren't gonna win the division(still way too many holes to fill),but thats not my argument here.
I'm simply saying that in terms of both QB and RB we will likely have the cream of the crop in the NFC West by seasons end.
BTW, the loss of Donnie Avery is unfortunate, but he didnt have a good camp, and hasnt been able to stay healthy since the latter part of his rookie season.
Many RAMS fans are declaring him a bust at this point...and i tend to agree. He's a deep threat but he runs poor routes and is always getting dinged.
I think Brandon Gibson will step up and start opposite Laurent Robinson(another guy who cant stay healthy) and do well.
He played damn good although preseason. Looked confident and had a plan. I didn't think he would work out along with Colt. We still don't know if he's a china doll but at least he's shown he can play.
4-5 years from now, he and Aaron Rodgers will be the two best QB's in the NFL.
I still can't believe the Raiders passed on Rodgers. I remember when they traded up two spots, I was sure they were going to draft Rodgers.
I think that had more to do with the Tedford/bust ratio at the time.
I like Bradford and if he would have declared early, I would have been torn as to who the Lions should have taken. But it's just one preseason game. , Harrington looked really good in the preseason, too.
Let's see what happens when the real bullets fly.
