Green is Jeff Green? I really liked him in college; glad to see him doing well.
Hard to argue taking Noah before Splitter, although Noah is doing well.
Where would Splitter go if they re-did the 2007 draft?

Galileo says:
1. Durant
2. Horford
3. Green
4. Splitter
5. Noah

1.Kevin Durant
2.Greg Oden
3.Al Horford
4.Joakim Noah
5.Tiago Splitter
6.Aaron Brooks
7.Marc Gasol
8.Rodney Stuckey
9.Jeff Green
10.Thaddeus Young
Another Splitter draft re-do thread?
Ok...
#5.
I still think people think Oden will bounce back next year and finally be healthy and show what he can do. I don't agree he will ever be as good as people thought he was going to be, but that's beside the point.
I thought people were saying Marc Gasol was better than Tiago.
he has proven a lot more in the NBA than Tiago.
Marc gasol would be a top 5 pick this draft. Tiago, still only top 10
Forgot about Gasol. True, he would go ahead of Tiago. Probably ahead of Noah today too, his potential is still very high.
Splitter is up to 2nd now. Green got cut from the national team.
I think he would have gone at 10.
he wouldve been top3 pick ever since he was eligible declared, but his euro contract was what stopping him from being a top pick
that's baloney. DRob sat out a couple years before he played.
I don't remember all the players from that draft, but according to that list, imo it should be:
1.Kevin Durant
2.Al Horford
3.Joakim Noah
4.Aaron Brooks
5.Greg Oden
6.Marc Gasol
7.Tiago Splitter
8.Jeff Green
9.Rodney Stuckey
10.Thaddeus Young
Except Splitter sat out for 4 years and he's no David Robinson.
No. Jeff Green is a clear #3. And I'll take Marc Gasol over Greg Oden, Oden MIGHT not turn out to be a bust, but you know what you've got at the least with Gasol.
Splitter was only out three years. He is a borderline all-star. Only Durant and Horford are all-star from that draft.
Green isn't as good as Splitter.
Green is overrated because his team had success this past season. He's no better than Noah, Brooks or Gasol.
Splitter has yet to play a minute in the NBA, I think it still might be to early to put Splitter ahead of all of those people. I don't see him being any lower then 10 in that list though.
Green is a damn good player that is doing well despite playing out of position. Hes a natural sf, but since durant is too and is much better hes forced to play pf.
This is as far as I got in the thread, but I hope that someone laid the smack down on Galileo for trying to compare DRob and his situation with Tiago and his. Despite the fact that the situations are wildly different David and Tiago should never be mentioned in any sentence outside of "____ and ____ have both worn spurs jerseys in their career."
Has Splitter worn a Spurs jersey yet?
No, but he had his picture taken with one at a press conference.
So we got a top 10 talent in 2007, top 15 in 2008 and 2009. Hopefully James the MANderson is a top 10 as well haha.
we need a Star prospect at the 4 !!! if you think about it thats all we need to be good for a really long time, either that or have our star be a sg or sf ...i think the spurs can pull it off
