Their ages? If they're 18 or under, I promise you they don't remember Shaq as a Laker, and certainly not the 3peat.
I've been posting in internet discussions since 1994, but rarely stay in the same place for long. I don't always join a board for sports either.
Most likely Patriots, Steelers, and Yankees boards.
Internet messageboard posting is not a requirement of fandom for any NBA fanbase. No one really knows if they didn't even know about this site until they signed up. No one really knows what types of fans they were before posting here. As annoying and stupid as a lot of Laker fans are, this is stupid to criticize anyone for. It's essentially tantamount to the "4 rings " smack talk.
Should I assume that you didn't become a Spurs fan until 2006 after they had secured their third NBA le because you didn't register to this site until then? It's weak smack talk.
Jam you can't talk to Spurs fans because we have 4 rings. You have to have at least 4 rings to talk smack to teams with more rings. That is the cutoff.
Laker fans are bandwagoners and front runners. This is common knowledge on the level of immutable scientific fact.

I hated the Lakers before 02-01-08. Then I jumped on the bandwagon the moment Pau Gasol was traded. Then on 06-24-2009, I decided to register on spurstalk so I can be scoffed a year later by this great grey spurfan called midnightpulp.
Spent the majority of posting on LG but it got pretty tired hearing how great the Lakers are and how the refs and Stern screw them every single game .....

Yeah. I agree. Many of them are. But also tell that to my uncle and my pops with me sitting beside him watching the Lakers get worked in the 1977 WCF against the Blazers. That's where my love for Laker basketball began.
