I have to agree with the 0 rings. It's a fact Kobe needs a great bigman to win it all.

If Kobe joined Dirk in 2005, theyd probably have more rings then the Spurs then you'd see Spurs fan tell Kobe fans that he was just a sidekick to Dirk. And the Spurs fans would tell Dirk Fans that he was a sidekick to Kobe....then end it with Duncan owns all.

hmmm this an intersting argument imagine if dirk and kobe would have been swapped for a trade before the 05-06 season lets see how the mavs would match up against the spurs in the playoffs that season

    Duncan Dampier
    Finley Howard
    Bowen Kobe
    Ginobili Terry
    Parker Harris

That would be a great series right there but I think Duncan would of been too much, Bowen was great that year also, finley could still score but howard would of had outscored him though, but ginobili and parker would of won the battle of the backcourt, and I would think the spurs would win in 6 and win back to back championships beating the heat

Lakers in 07-08 lets see how they match up

    Duncan Odom
    Oberto Dirk
    Bowen Radmonivic
Ginobili Sasha-was having a great year that year
    Parker Fisher

Spurs would face nothing but a jump shooting team in L.A. Spurs win in 6 becuase Dirk causes more problems for the spurs, to go for the fourth championship in a row in which I think we lose to the celtics in 7

the next year though lakers would have been scary

    Bynum
    Dirk
    Ariza
Sasha-Laker probably would have signed someone else
    Fisher

that team would of been a contender and won and mavs may have made it deep in the playoffs at some point in which I think they would have signed a big guy in free agency at one point but I still think Kobe would of have been ringless with the mavs and dirk probably would have won 1 championship

There aren't enough jumpshots in the world to make a Kobe/Dirk duo work.

Maybe in NBA live or NBA 2K, but in real life where styles of plays and the abitlity to mesh toghether as a team matters, it's not so sure of a thing.

Nowitzki has a perimeter oriented game, Gasol is more of a typical bigman. Kobe's game obviously complements better with the latter kind of player.

A Duncan/ Nowitzki duo would work better than a Kobe/Dirk duo, IMO.

Manu > Dirk in his opinion. So, Dirk will come off the bench since Manu comes off the bench.
