Ability to customize weapons, sights, and attachments.
Money system to purchase weapons, attachments, and other customizable things.
Wager match gametypes where you can wager money
-One in a Chamber - you have one bullet and a knife, and every kill you get gives you another bullet
-Sharpshooter - you are given a random weapon, so you either get a overpowered, or underpowered weapon
-Sticks and Stones - you have a crossbow, ballistic knife and Tomahawk. Crossbow and ballistic knife kills give you points, Tomahawk kills don't
-Gun Game - you start off with a bad weapon, but every kill upgrades you weapon. The first to reach the 20'th gun wins. Knife to humiliate and de-rank your opponent.

WaW was meh imho, It wasn't as good as CoDMW2 and that game sucks ass compared to CoD4. Treyarch has potential and from the Black Ops vids i might have to check this game out.
Nazi Zombies was badass though, hopefully it makes a return.
i saw this like a couple weeks agon on xbl, i really dig the rc car with c4 on it or whatever it is.

Dude, on almost all of the guns with the exception of the sniper rifle... there's no recoil.
This is one of the things I like about BC2.. and it's even worse in a game where the maps are so much smaller
Game looks promising, going to get this
The money system and the new game modes have me sold. No recoil is going to be a problem though along with subpar graphics.
I have to say the sound effects are MUCH improved. Not as good as COD 1 and 2 but a ton better than Waw and MW2 where everything sounded the same.
Between the theater and offline multiplayer bots, I'm sold.
Who knows if the gameplay is up to snuff, but it, I've been playing mw2 for the past year and black ops can't possibly end up worse than that.
I'm probably gonna get this mainly for the zombie mode.. Can't get that withe standard edition, you need to buy at least the "Hardened" version to get the old 4 WAW maps..

Those game modes look ing badass, i actually might pick up black ops now.
by the time this comes out ill be tired of halo reach. good timing. i like this but im sure campers will ruin this game in 2 months.

its about time these games start using the genius community content that has been invented over the years.
heck, thats where nazi zombies come from too. spent many hours playing day of defeat zombie mod way back in teh day
It was the tanks for me. Tanks were completely re ed and unnecessary, and (surprise, surprise) were abused by morons who only wanted to use tanks.
Or you could make an anti tank class and use 1 satchel charge under it or 2 in all places besides the front, don't bother with a bazooka, to kill it. I never really got the hate of tanks. Just have an anti tank class. Plus the hit detection is so bad with the turret gun, you really have to hit someone dead on.
The MP40 was a bit annoying as it's probably the weakest of the SMG's in real life. Hard to aim, slow ROF, and used a weaker 9mm round. It's like they just through out the real life statistics out and did as they pleased.
