link is dead. But I read it.
Guess it's been awhile since the last fruitless discussion about religion...
Stephen Hawking knows what's up.
I probably wouldn't believe in God either if I looked as re ed as Hawking.
OMG, I swear I was going to post the same thing, except for re ed, I was going to say ugly as !!!![]()
yeah ALS generally does that to you. hope you dont ever know anybody who has it. imo, its the worst disease you can get.
if you really believed in God, you wouldn't rag on somebody whos unfortunate enough to be cursed with that condition.
just saying.
...
plus he's convinced that black holes create alternate universes, and he's built his whole life around studying them, so they're pretty much his God.
OOoopsie, didn't know he had ALS, my bad. Will say a prayer for him!![]()
wasnt he talking about aliens a couple weeks ago?
god damn alison brie is hot as
Meh... trying to pass pseudo-scientific theory/research off as legit gets you blackballed, not belief in God.
Completely false.
crofl sure.
that criteria captures damn near every scientist who ever lived.
How Christian of the Christians in this thread to make fun of a disabled man.
Well, actually no. "True" Christians would be much worse.
I guess if you're a dumbass that is completely unaware of his debt to methodical scientific progress (as opposed to accidental discoveries here and there), then yeah.
To most Christians, the Bible is like a sofware license. Nobody actually reads it. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree."
Then again how many people actually read Hawking's stuff and understand WTF he's talking about?
People who find it interesting and choose to read Hawking's essays.
But the majority still don't understand WTF he's talking about.
Yeah you say your prayer bag
"God didn't make the universe. I made it!"
I heard of a guy who took apart a Rolex watch & put all the parts into a paper bag….Every morning he shook the bag for an hour…After 20 years of shaking he looked into the bag to check on the watch & none of the parts reassembled themselves…
I guess the Universe is much simpler than a watch….
I know you just troll to troll, but that is the worst analogy I could possibly think of.
Grats.
