It's not like he's gone out of his way to disassociate himself with Islam. In fact, the President has made quite a show of all White House occurrences involving Islam but, not so much with other religions.
Do I think he's a Muslim? No. Do I think he has a special affection for the religion? Obviously.
Arguably, Markos is more relevant to today's culture than Bill Donohue.
I don't recall Bill Donohue publishing completely bogus bull on his site/blog/or whatever the he has. The Daily KOS, however, will do this when it suits them.

You might want to fact check that. As I understand it, you technically become a muslim after affirming your belief at a cognizant age (similar to baptism in christianity). You are correct however, that once taking the faith it is a big no-no to leave it.
Maybe he is trying to show tolerance in comparison to the "y'er either with us or against us" mentality...

I'm saying there's been an overwhelming amount of attention paid to Islam, by this President, over other religions.
