Everyone could see it coming from a mile away.
There was a better chance of T Park competing in a triathlon then Leinart staying with the team.

Weird timing
Didn't he have like his first decent pre-season ever??
Was it a salary dump??
No his preseason was terrible and his at ude is even worse. It wasn't a salary dump but not having a backup QB being paid like a starter is def. gonna help their cap situation in the future.
wow straight up released hope he can turn it around
That fat son of a Peter King thinks he will end up in Seattle or Houston. I would hate to see him in Houston. Dan Orvlosky>>>Leinart
He'll sign with Seattle for the minimum to be back with Petey... If Seattle will have him, he's theirs. No doubts. Hasselbeck isn't going to be much going forward, and if anyone can fix Leinart, it's Carroll.
Texans already experimented with one crappy ex-USC QB. They don't need another one.
sons that sucks for Mr. Pretty Boy. He has to be so damn bitter with his co-star from USC Reggie Bush ...
POST USC SUCCESS
Leinart
- well um he completely a few passes here and there
- got cut from the team
Bush
- established himself as a legit starter in the NFL
- pounded out Kim Kardashian's phat white ass
- won a Super Bowl
lol way to try and justify Bush being a bust, fat whitebread. He was supposed to be a game changing RB.
Then so did Tashard Choice.
I hate the Texans, but Mario Williams is ting all over Reggie Bush. Charlie Casserly ftw.
Reggie Bush has a Super Bowl ring as a starter on the team ... white boy Matt Leinart doesn't even have a job right now. who is the ?
So you're saying Bush isn't a gigantic bust? Not that anyone takes anything you say serious anyway.
how exactly is Bush a bust? are you really that damn ignorant?
He is not the star that he was in college, but he is far from a "bust". In fairness it doesn't take much for a player to look better than they really are in the conference that USC plays in. That is why most of their players flop in the NFL. However a "bust" would be someone like Matt Leinart who 5 years in still couldn't earn a starting spot and has now been cut from the team. Or someone like JaMarcus "Sippin on that Sizzurp" Russell who can't even ... well, do much of anything .... I'm not even sure Russell can even read.
Bush has been a solid starting player for the Saints and knows his role. Sean Payton learned after his first season how to correctly use Bush and he has fit in perfectly with the Saints offense. Bush is a good 10-12 rush per game back and an above average short pass receiver.
Bush averaged 5 attempts and less than 28 yards rushing per game last year, and he only started 8 games. Apparently the way to "correctly use" Reggie Bush is to let Pierre Thomas and Mike Bell do all the heavy lifting.
Seahawks won't go for Leinart
Don't look for Matt Leinart in Seattle. Persons close to the team tell me it's not going to happen.
Apparently, Seattle is satisfied with its two quarterbacks, Matt Hasselbeck and Charlie Whitehurst, despite Whitehurst's inconsistent play this summer. But the club paid a steep price to acquire Whitehurst from San Diego and envisions him as Hasselbeck's successor, and the Seahawks didn't want to complicate the situation by introducing another young quarterback.
Plus, the Seahawks have plenty of money invested in the position.
So while Leinart going to Seattle would seem to make sense from a lot of perspectives -- with his former coach at USC, Pete Carroll, the most compelling reason -- it almost surely isn't going to happen. Seattle is happy with two quarterbacks and will wait on Whitehurst. It will not jump for Leinart.

Carroll knows Leinart is not cut out to be a starter in the NFL. Leinart will be lucky to even find a team to sign with. The fact Seattle wanted nothing to do with him speaks volumes.
Bush is a bust. Accept it.
No he's not. Getting a punt returning/passing down specialist who is a special teams starter is great value for the 2nd overall pick
