On a related note, I honestly wonder if that car was fully functional after hitting the cyclist. As hard as he hit, I bet it did serious damage to the frame. I think you can see the window shattered, and probably the wheel well on the driver side is caved in.

Wouldn't be too hard to find out who was driving like that, IMO. It would be obvious from the damage to that car what happened. Probably several pieces of the bike (and person) lodged in the grill.
