TMZ obtained this photo of the Los Angeles Lakers playoff hero getting pulled over Monday in something called an Eagle Roadster -- a custom vehicle with a top speed of 152 MPH.

Law enforcement sources tell us Artest was cited because the registration on the car was expired. But get this -- we're told the car isn't even registered to Ron ...but somebody out in Tennessee.

Ron -- who was smiling throughout the entire incident -- was eventually sent on his way ... but sources tell us cops were "very happy" he was wearing a helmet.

The Lakers should be happy too.

That car needs some slicks, not all-season tires.

    Edit:
What an interesting little car. Iron block v6? Automatic? Near equal length wishbones up front? Solid axle? ~2000 lbs?

Not exactly selling points for a car like that.

I didn't say Penil-lized...I said Pena ( with an a)...not Peni ( with an i) which is interchangeable with Anal and not Anus...Penis is to Anal whereas Penal and Anus doesn't exist in the free world...ya digg? lol -- I'm sure Midnight will have a great time with this one...right up his alley.... no pun intended...

    Nope, not smiling.
He got it straightened though:::Lakers were prayin' (even Luva, facin' East, persian in' rug, the whole in' 9 yards of it under his bowl of cereal, his ma's basement, me hidin' in the corner, facin' West (eyes shut tight/ass scratchers tight over my ears)---(away from the the smell of The Skunker) and hearts beat fast and everybody thought they breathed their last cept Ron. With all his strength he gave a mighty shove (big in' shove), and a Laker yelled out (like in '02 when Horry hit it, I believe it was D. Fish again)....anyway Fish yelled out:::"by God, there's a light up above!", and once & again (like in '02) 12 Lakers scrambled from a would be grave leaving not CWEBB this time, but, Paul Pierce holding the schnitzel.

    Matzel, Matzel, good things!

Media wanted him to falter, to fail, in the worst way, but, he kept his dauber up and went on to the end.

Just like the Vug ^above^:::maligned throughout the campaign, when Jackson called his number, he went to the fire, broke from the pack to the open area knowing he was going to get the inbounds and have to hit those FT's.

    What a glorious nite.

He also confessed to his sins in that post game press conference after Game 7. Just because Media chose not to cite nor dwell on said confession don't mean it didn't happen.

    It was Artest's finest moment.

Dude let it all out ...and he is getting love for it. Im guessing you prefer "the decision" over a true redemption story like Artest?

My favorite moment "I want to thank my hood, my shrink ...and my wife" Ron is an expert at prioritizing!!! LOL
