Sanders offensive lines in Detroit were frequently awful.
Never said they weren't. But the Raiders have had historically bad O-Lines in recent years.

But they were good enough for Michael Bush to be a more productive runner than McFadden.

Which is the only game he really got a good amount of carries and a change to show what he's capable of, only to get hurt shortly after, and he hasn't really recovered since then.

The guy is fragile, I don't question that. If thats why y'all label him a bust, sure thats understandable. But in terms of ability, he hasn't had much of a chance.

I like Michael Bush, and I think he's probably a better pure RB, but McFadden when healthy, definitely has ability to make big plays. This is his year to prove he can be that kind of player.

    Bust

The big play potential is there no one ever questioned that. A big reason why I label him a bust is injury, and because he's a RB that's very top heavy and has a very thin lower body, I don't see the injuries going away anytime soon.

Yeah, he's definitely fragile. Although he supposedly added around 15-20 lbs of muscle to his lower body in the offseason. Gonna have to see the guy in action first though. It may have been a good thing that Bush got hurt in the preseason, so McFadden will be forced as the sole feature back, so we can see what he is capable of.

He's too tall for his own good. He's always dead on contact, and his speed is seriously gone since about week 3 of his rookie season. Even then, he was getting caught from behind in that KC game.

He got injured on that long run in the KC game. That's why he got ran down. Which was week 2 of that season. So of course his speed would have disappeared, if he's got a ed up foot

You can be a tall RB (Stephen Jackson, Adrian Peterson) but those guys have tree trunk legs that protects knees and bowl people over. She-macs combination of height and thin build is his problem.

If that's the case then you have to label Felix Jones a bust as well.

The difference is Jones wasn't taken with the 4th overall pick.

Well, it was Gholston or McFadden. I guess that makes me feel better.

The 06, 07 and 08 drafts were just weak in general IMO. The Patriots lack of success in those 3 drafts has everything to do with their current day struggles. As much as people love Mayo and Meriweather, neither one is a real playmaker. The 06 draft was the worst, Laurence Maroney and Chad Jackson.

You're making fun of me for stuff mono said

I like Meriweather and Mayo a lot and Meriweather might develop into a real playmaker, but Mayo is never gonna be the guy who comes up with the big turnover or big play when you need it from your defense.

    For the record tho -

Jermaine Cunningham = Willy McGinest 2.0
Brandon es = Teddy Bruschi 2.0 with black athleticism
Patrick Chung = Lawyer Milloy 2.0
Devin McCourty = Ty Law 2.0
Darius Butler = Ty Poole 2.0
Ron Brace = Richard Seymour 2.0

Let me know if I missed someone.

Personally I cannot wait to see that super overrated punk Dez Bryant get the knocked out of him by the Redskin defense Sunday night. Redskins will crush the cowpigs in front of a national audience and I will love every minute of it.

    Hail!
