Not one dem is campaigning on Obamacare.
Modesty, I'm sure.
But you shouldn't run a country on polls.
that's good you finally came around jack. obama had the balls to put his political career on he line for what he believed in... how do you suppose they are going to get around that veto thingy?

do you know what a veto is?
Probably by not passing a budget and shutting down the government.
The insurance industry and major pharmaceutical corporations are greatful Obama had the balls to protect their interests. Yay healthcare reform!
Who knows. Maybe now that the democrats have read the bill, maybe they will repeal it. Senator Ron Wyden in my state voted for it, but now regrets it. i wonder how many other democrats finally learned some things about the bill they didn't read?

jack hates obama because he's the biggest liar ever..but he supports others who lie.. but he hates liars,... but will vote for a liar as long as it's not obama.. but he hates liars..

Everyone needs to show their driver's license when they are pulled over except illegal aliens.
Republicans flunk government shutdown history
In the same way that many of them still -- after all these years and against all available evidence -- would rather chalk up Bill Clinton's 1992 victory to the presence of Ross Perot than to their own deficiencies, there are Republicans who still refuse to accept the reality of what happened when they forced a shutdown of the federal government in 1995.

Can the Repugs be so stupid as to shut down govt again? YES!![]()
Republicans just throwing every empty promise (actually, this isn't a promise. it's more like an idea that they will never follow up on because they can't--regardless of what happens in November)they can at tea partiers to bring them back into the GOP fold.
The same dead enders who are complaining of earmarks and pork barrel spending will continue the practice .. the tea baggers will be used like any other special interest group
If the Republicans can take enough seats, then maybe enough Democrats will join with them so they'll have enough votes to override a veto. If not, they can just vote to defund the program - and it's dead.
A bunch of Democrats are already apologizing for their vote. Could happen.
Actually, wouldn't they first have to get around that cloture thing? Even at the absolute PEAK of Bush II, they only had 55 Senate seats.
For some reason, board conservatives are blissfully unaware of the obstruction tactics used by their own party the past three years.
