Conservatives' All Out Scorched-Earth War On Employees continues.

Your Fat Paycheck Keeps Your Neighbor Unemployed

Economics teaches that full employment would be reached if wages adjust downward, to a level that better reflects current cir stances. At lower wages, employers would desire more workers. Labor markets generate persistent unemployment only if wages are sticky, failing to fall as demand declines.

A number of reasons help explain why wages don’t and won’t drop, beginning with federal and state minimum-wage laws.

Second, because union contracts generally cover multiple years, adjusting wages in response to economic cir stances would require a return to the bargaining table, which rarely happens.

Third, the natural reluctance of workers to accept lower pay is amplified by how their wage helps define their iden y. A $60,000-a-year office worker might have an extra-hard time coming to terms with becoming a $40,000-a-year worker.

Finally, workers and jobs might be mismatched, either geographically or occupationally. Workers might be needed in places they don’t want to move to, or can’t afford to live.

Unions have 12% of the workers, NOT the cause of Banksters' Great Depression.

The Class War on unions is definitely why middle class incomes have been stagnant for decades.

when prices are high corporations are greedy
when prices are low corporations are greedy
when salaries are high corporations are greedy
when salaries are low corporations are greedy
when corporations stay in the US we punish them with high taxes because they are greedy
when corporations flee the US because of high taxes we rail at them because they are greedy

I guess when you harbor an irrational hatred of corporations it all makes sense though.

BTW, understanding the difference between a normal corporation and a bank is the first step toward understanding our current economic situation.

    "normal corporation"

    WTF is "normal"

Is that a corp that doesn't do anything to maximize profits?

banks are the only non-normal corporations?

    I have nothing against profits.

I have everything against profits no matter who or what gets screwed.
