Yeah that asshole, he should play on a bum ankle like last time. I mean it was just one of his ankles this time, he should've played for that so very important 7th place.
Well anyway this is the reality of this team. People thinking that we could've gotten a medal with it are totally delusional.

Why is Turkey such a great team??? I don't see that they have so much great players. I really thought we have a better team than them. And then we lose by 30 points. Just pathetic. Their coach is master for moron Mehmed who can go to his Polish league and there himself.
You can all be happy with the 8th place, but it's not that great. With a real coach and a real team we could be a top 3 with no problem. But no, lets take Jagoda, Rizvič and Klobučar on the tournament cause Lorbeks are es ( Domen, I don't give a about him), cause Udrih is not a ing starter, cause they won't call Vujacic cause they are afraid that he'll say no, cause our federation can't speak with Preldžič cause they already know that he won't play for us.... Oh and there are better players than Hasan, Klobu and Jagoda... Pavič is like 10X better than Hasan, Joksimovič is also a much better player than both Jagoda and Klobu and even Udrih. Even Čapin is better than those guys. I'd rather thake Ariel McDonlad on the tournament, at least he can make shots. All those 3 ''good'' players were just on the bench all the time, and even when a like Klobu comes in the game he is full of already.

LOL, at best our teams are about the same. Given that they were on their homecourt and have a great coach the loss is understandable. As for it being a 30pt loss... I think Turkey just had that good of a day and we had a bad one next to that (quite a few shots went in and out, even easy ones). I doubt we'd lose like that again to them if we got another chance. Like do you think Australia is such a bad team we could beat them by 30 every time?

Yea. Turkey is a pretty good team. And that day they were making every shot. But still we could have played much better. Some of our guys (Dragič, Lakovič,...) were there just for fun, like they don't care. Only Nachbar played basketball that day. I gues they were all happy cause they are in top 8 so, they thought they did their job.LOL, at best our teams are about the same. You're right with the homecourt, but all of our players said before the game that that will not bother them, so that's no excuse.
The refs didn't effect the game. And the fact that they have a better coach is not my problem. Everyone in Slovenia should know that Mehmed is a pathetic coach. He never did . Changed 11 teams in 12 yeas or something like that... That's just bad...Our KZS always thinks we've got a lot of great coaches in this country, but I really don't see them... Only Sagadin is a coach who'd I take, others are morons. But as long as we won't pay a Serbian or Croatian coach it will be like this. Great players with no result.
Hahahaha... I didn't have great expectations from this team. I just think it's pathetic that our team's goal was just to come to the 2nd round. Yea, we don't have all of our players, but no team is 100%.

Sagadin probably is our best coach, but even he didn't have any success with our NT. I also think it's unlikely we'll have greater success with our own coaches. I'd rather have a Serbian one though, I don't think Croatian coaches are that much better. Otherwise I like Ettore Messina.
I also think we need a not Slovenian coach. but I gues that Memi will get another chance, then Filipovski or Okorn. And when they'll see that even those suck, they'll bring a foreign coach. But then all of the players will be already retired. KZS really sucks. Those guys must really be morons. If they were choosing new coach after Zdvoc, they should choose Tomo Mahoric instead of Mehmed "The Bear" Becirovic.
This is the real picture of this team. I agree with the guy that said Brazil was the only decent team we beat. Decent, not good.
And yeah, Dragic was below expectations. If you look at the stats, he's one of our best players, but he achieved most of those numbers against scrub teams like Iran, Tunisia, Australia. I was impressed by Boki and his at ude, because I didn't expect much from him, since he was benched for almost the entire season. Vidmar was good in first couple of games, but later he disappeared. I didn't expect anything from Zupan, so yeah, I could say I was kind of pleasantly surprised by his contribution. Our best player (besides Boki), in my opinion, was Sani Becirovic. A lot of smart things he did that don't necessarily show on the stat list. He played smart basketball. Yeah, he made some turnovers here and there, but who didn't?
