There is a clock run off with offensive penalties in those situations - obviously with time at zero it kills the game.
Game just can't end on a defensive penalty.

It's true if he didn't hold, Romo would've been sacked. And normally, Olinemen can get away with some holding at end of games, so I understand why he tried it. The problem is that he over did it. It was a plain tackle. Not subtle at all.

Red balls managed to give up more points than the entire cowboys defense and he wasnt even playing...and it was an offensive possession. Anyway, entertaining quarter. It made up for the rest of the game.
