and 62-61 Kobe vs Mavs after 3 Qs![]()
ty thread. Not surprised, though considering who started it.
yes sir...on the ing money...and hey I wanna see the ing porno tape...
so graphic so porn:
Kobe only scored 50 points once in the playoffs though...For a guy on track with the most playoff games played, that's pretty disturbing.
7 finals appearances in 14 seasons...5 les pretty sick IMO...
FWIW, did'nt Kobe drop 50+ on the nuggets too? I remember that game when JR Smith opened his mouth, Kobe answered with 53 if i'm not mistaken.
LMAO.. i remember that game, Kobe spanked them so bad, he could have easily scored 60 if he wanted to... he had nine 3 pointers in that game also
I think that was the game in the Playoffs where Kobe scored 49 points and also had 10 assists in that game when JR Smith opened his mouth.
How is that disturbing? The playoffs are about winning and Kobe is a proven winner. The tempo of the modern game also slows down in the playoffs and it's a lot more half court basketball, moving the ball and milking the clock to find the best shots.
Another Lakaluva classic here...come on you ignorant , Jordan was 40 years old.

But he drops 30 and 40 like layups so it's all good
Do this for Michael Jordan vs. Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain. , you can even do one for LeBron James too.
Your point is that Jordan put up better numbers and averages in his era? Well done then.
No, if you weren't a ed Lakerfan, you'd realize his point is that Michael Jordan is a better player than Kobe Bryant.

Preach on bromie, preach on!
But it was still Duncan and Shaq's league then.
It didn't become Kobe's league until Duncan and Shaq found themselves on the wrong side of their respective primes.
I'll give Kobe credit for dominating the post-Duncan/Shaq era. Beating teams like the recent Jazz, Suns, Nuggets, and Yao-less Rockets is no easy feat. Not to mention defeating those Finals juggernauts in a Dwight "I have no post-game" Howard led Orlando Magic and a 50 win Boston team filled with has-beens who lost their starting center for game 7.
But Shaq was the main man during the three peat. Truth is, a Kobe led team has never ringed during Duncan's prime. On the other hand, Duncan led teams scored three O'Briens (I'll concede that Kobe wasn't in his prime in 99. Oh, but you just said he was the best player in the league in 99, so let's make that four O'Briens) during Kobe's prime.
Now that has to burn your ass.
Didn't say that. Quit twisting my words. I said Manu's been the closer since '05. And he would get the ball late because he's a great FT shooter. It'd be foolish not to put the ball in his hands when the other team is in intentional foul mode.
Yeah, he got lucky bookending the 3 peat, beating your supposed "Kobe-led" Lakers twice enroute. Then he finished the job on those Pistons that whooped the "official" Kobe-led Lakers the year previous. Didn't Kobe shoot something like 35% in that series?
