I don't like it, but I've accepted that Rick Perry knows how to play Texas politics better than anyone and that merely being the republican in the race will be enough for him to keep winning. Perry will be the one to let us know when he's tired of being our governor, not the other way around.![]()
Sweet Baby is making me do it.
Probably not. Of course, I won't be voting for the popular crooked alternative.
Frontera? The company he helped found and was CEO of for a short period of time then sold his stock and made millions? lolz Yeah, that's horrible.
I don't even know what your refering to with BTech. Neither does Google.

BJ Services? You mean the company that is in trouble for pollution violations? Bill White was on the BOD....that's hardly a cuplible link. Hilarious.
Not really.

How can you even consider voting for that slick pimp again?
You might be right....he's certainly one of the slickest we've had in awhile. I don't get it...he's one of the most blatantly disingenuous Governors (and that's saying a load) we've ever had. Yet, we'll vote him in simply because he has an R beside his name? Insanity.
And its not as thought Perry is all for middle/upper class land owners....TTC is some of the shadiest we've seen in Texas politics in forever. And there is no reason to believe its dead.
It really makes me question the people of my home state every time I think about it
No way I'm voting for Perry.
http://www.politifact.com/texas/stat...firm-worked-m/Well, when you use your DOE position to get the contracts (Middle East) it could be. Thats why he doesn't want to release his tax returns from that time period.
Summing up: Perry is right that White worked in the Clinton administration and that he later formed a company that defaulted on a $60 million loan. He's off the mark, however, when he says that the company did business in the Middle East.
http://www.politifact.com/texas/stat...d-hurricane-r/On March 19, Bill White released only his 2009 tax returns, revealing he earned $83,000 from his former employer, the Wedge Group, in 2009.
On June 8, when Bill White released his 2004-2008 tax returns, he admitted to the Associated Press that he earned more than $500,000 after investing in BTEC, a company he steered a taxpayer contract to following Hurricane Rita. The Wedge Group, which paid Bill White $81,854.65 in 2005, was the majority owner of BTEC at the time.
TRUTH-O-METER: FALSE.
Dude, look around. Lots of people serve on BOD's...sometimes more than one of em. Being Mayor has zero to do with a BOD gig.
And your ME claim was completely destroyed by Parker. THanks for playing tho.
He's a piker compared to Perry.
Nice.
Parrot much, CC?![]()

Dont let the facts get in the way of your lies CC...just keep spoutin em out. Thats definitely gonna help the people of our state
I don't particularly like Perry and was definitely against the TTC. At the same time I don't like Bill White either. And no one "destroyed" anything, especially Parker.
I would say sarcastically, but almost true, that the pick for office is 99.44% the time, picking the lesser of two evils.
Isn't that reason enough?
you got the part about how CC's mouthing of the Texas repub party line just got slammed by the truth, right?
