I live in San Diego. Tickets aren't cheap. Lowest Price ticket is $54. Unemployment here in California is currently 12% and yes, there is a lot to do here besides spend money on a pro team. But seriously, it's the Jaguars. Not the Patriots, the Raiders, or The Cowboys. Plus, as Charger fans, we already expect for the Bolts to win the AFC West. It's a weak division, and the Chargers need to man up, when it counts most, come playoff time. This is our first blackout since 04. With Summer still a perfect 80 degrees, there is still some good surf to catch and lots to watch onshore. They'll sellout when the comp is worth it.
Plus, this city wants a pro le from any of the 4 majors. San Diego only has Baseball & Football, The Padres are doing great. Considering they were supposed to be cellar dwellers, they're still in it to win the West.

One thing to add, I recall when I went to San Antonio for the 1st time, and I went to Malik's Philly's Phamous. Everyone and there mother complained about how expensive it was. SA would do the same thing if they had a football team. Not that 1st year, but sometime thereafter.

blaming it on them playing the Jaguars. Dude your team just got spanked by the in Chiefs, and you're acting like a team with a top 3 RB couldn't possibly come and kick that ass? Get off your high horse. San Diego is a bunch of fairweather gots.

That's awesome that you brought up unemployment when the Lions sold out.

The real reason is that a lot of people that live there are transplants and their allegiance already lies with another team.

Chargers can't sell out when they have a decent team and the Raiders have had over 60% of their games blacked out since moving back to Oakland.

Can't wait to see the fans that show up for the LA Vikings/Jaguars.

Spanked? Oh you mean the drubbing you girls took from a QB with a bad ankle and an overweight DT didn't mean anything? Please, Mavfan. You don't live here, so you can only assume what it is. I'm telling you as someone who has season tickets. If I wanted to sell my seats for a game this season, this Jaguar game got no love. But sure, talk out of your ass. You're used to it.

If that was the case, then why is this the 1st blackout since 2004? That's 6 years straight sell-outs until now. So the transplant theory is not the correct answer. Apathy, until the Chargers get on a roll or the Padres are eliminated from contention, rules the day here. Unlike Mavidiot, living here gives me an advantage as to what's going on in my home city.

Some people see in LA thinks it's going to be Minnesota. They already wear Purple and Gold, and LA's already done it once to them.

Chad OchoCinco was 9 for 9 with 132 yards and the TD.
He also caught the vast majority of those passes in the 2nd half after it was 31-3 and the Patriots were on cruise control.

Well I just realized Man In Black is from the Philippines, so it's no surprise since Asians are just as guilty of bandwagoning as other minorities.

the Chargers, and their orange-glow, fairweather fans. The Niners are the only team that consistently sell out in the great state of Cali, regardless of record. Raider fan can't afford to show up (although their fan base is as rabid and loyal as any in sports), and Charger fan can't drag their sorry ass off the beach to show up.

The Chargers deserve every failure that comes their way. They closely resemble Falcon Fan, or basically Atlanta fan in general

Minorities? In that part of the world and in indeed the big picture it's white people who are in the small minority.

And overseas Spur fans are ok with me. It's better than them supporting the hated Lakers.

    MIB,
Mul roll hasn't missed a session with his Tomdoll during a game since the Pattys were gifted the Tuck game. So even once in 6 years is too much miss.

FYI Pechangas is showing the game on many screens.

What the is the point of blacking out Home Games from the fans in the area? In the case of Oakland and others it is not inspiring more fans to go to the game so why the fans they DO have by not letting them watch them locally on TV? They pay all that money for cable and the s bag NFL says

I would actually argue you are costing the teams and the league fans by telling certian die hard fans in the area

"You can't watch the local game because they didn't sell out" Just pisses them off and makes them bitter..

    in stupid..
