that sucks real bad for a kid to die that young, especially during a football game. RIP and my condolences to his family and friends.

Tragic loss to lose someone so young. My condolences go out to his family and friends. Please pray for them.

Because there isn't a high school forum asshole.
Good Question. I wish people could learn to read forum descriptions and comply with the designated topics.
Do not get defensive because you do not know how to follow forum guidelines. This topic has no business being in the college forum.
I certainly will but can you please stop using profane language. This is a PG forum and your language is anything but PG.
For those wanting another thread on this topic, here is a link chat to another web run site online. I will post a link web.

Good grief, that's horrible. Thoughts and prayers for his family.
Indeed a tragedy. Nobody should die that young.
How about you keep your crap in the the troll forum and club, Mr. Forum Mod wannabe? How about worrying about your own posts and forum guidelines? We don't need your stupid race-baiting ass telling anyone here what to do.
I post as I see fit. Rules and guidelines are in place for a reason. If you can not follow those, then the posts need to be edited or removed until they are in compliance with said guidelines.
The bottom line is that this forum is led "College Sports" and this is a topic regarding high school football.
I see no designated forum that would allow for this sort of conversation on this particular web site, therefore, it is my belief that this sort of topic(high school sports) are off topic and not allowed on this board.
The topic needs to be edited or removed to become in accordance with the site administrators guidelines.
If there was a high school forum, why would you post this? Debby Downer thread. But I guess I'll comply:
"Prayers go out to his family"
"He was so young"
"Tragedy"
No , Sherlock. The rest of your post is crap because you don't follow any of it, so why should the OP? He posted as he saw fit, deal with it.
Run back to the Club and post yet another irrelevant thread, k?
back on topic, they're saying the kid had a history of seizures.
i wonder what the autopsy will reveal...
That getting hit in the head by playing football for years and years is not healthy.
Anyone who plays football is asking for brain damage and by nature must be ignorant because the sport, by definition, is violent. It is not a skill sport like all other sports. It is pure strength and all about who can knock the other guy the out.
Football is not safe and WILL CAUSE BRAIN DAMAGE.
http://www.cnn.com/2010/HEALTH/09/14...rain/?hpt=Sbin
(CNN) -- An autopsy of a 21-year-old college football player who committed suicide has revealed mild stages of a type of brain damage typically seen in retired or aging athletes and can cause neurobehavioral disorders and bizarre behavior.
So are you attempting to suggest that dropping dead from a siezure is "bizarre behavior" or are you just linking a completely irrelevant news story?
Football is fat black men hitting eachother.
\/ery similar to prison.
This message is hidden because ALWAYS bet on BLACK is on your ignore list.

Garrett was a longhorns fan and it sounds like he was a really good kid. He was a member on the National Honors Society. RIP
