Very sad...condolences go out to the family and these players..they've had a tough few years, for those who've been around that long.
http://www.kdvr.com/news/kdvr-bronco...,3972716.storyDenver Broncos wide receiver Kenny McKinley was found dead from an apparent suicide, sources tell FOX31 News.
The body of McKinley, 23, was found in Arapahoe County. No further details were immediately available.
FOX31's Josina Anderson was the first to report the news.
McKinley, a fifth round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, had struggled to stay healthy during his two years with the Broncos. Limited to kick returns, he was placed on injury reserve with a knee injury in 2009.
He was also placed on injury reserve prior to the start of the 2010 regular season.
McKinley is the third Broncos player to die a sudden death in the past four years. On New Year's Day 2007, cornerback Darrent Williams was killed in a drive-by shooting in downtown Denver. In Feb. 2007, running back Damien Nash, 24, collapsed and died during a charity basketball game.
McKinley, who was born in Baker, Louisiana, was a standout player at South Carolina and climbed into the SEC record books with 207 receptions -- the third-most in conference history, according to NFL.com. He also became just the 12th player in league history to collect more than 2,700 receiving yards.
R.I.P.

Really sucks, he apparently had a lot of friends in the Broncos organization, and he has a young son..suicide is a move though, TBH..seems like this happens with this team every few years, it's ridiculous..
I still remember D-Will's death via Brandon Marshall's mouth like it was yesterday..the worst sequence of my fandom in any sport, TBH..Broncos with a massive choke job to miss the playoffs by losing to the 49ers, then D-Will dying later on that night, and he hasn't been replaced properly since..
I'd kill myself too if I had to be on a team with that piece of Tebow.
That's pretty sad. He was still just a kid. No matter how bad things get nothing is worth taking your life.
some of these posters seriously have no human side. This guy died, he's leaving family and friends behind. Show some damn respect and give your condolences. Geez
Voluntarily.
Yep. Also happens when you willingly play a game that has proven to cause brain injuries which can impair judgements.
YOU, triggeredexcellence. You are now my least favorite poster you ing moron. He did this to himself. That is what suicide is by definition you .
I agree
I dont know what pushed him over the edge, but comitting suicide, especially at such a young age, is not a solution
tbh i am waiting for mono to come into this thread and comment on how this is mckinley's father's fault
Lots of posters on this site have no class. It's pathetic.
Players would do just about anything to not play for McDaniels.

Did I ever say I expected it? No, you idiot. I fully expect pieces of like yourself to say things like "Ha! Thats what I woulda done."
Because that's the cool thing to do on the internet!
You say the opposite of the majority of people in this thread. What would you say in person if someone told you this same news? I'd sure hope your first reaction wasn't "oh Tebow was on the team of course he did.." or some other bull . Come on...
Have I ever told you to turn in your before? Because it sounds like you did.
lol JT lol Colts
I just laugh at the people in this thread though. Lotta classless people. No biggie though. They just like to stir the pot and piss people off and they suceed at it when people acknowledge them. Doesn't surprise me. JT is trash anyways. Always has been and always will be. I remember that post a while back about him having too much drugs and overdosing and dying. Damn I wish that was true. But whatevz.![]()
i wish i died too man then i wouldn't have to read your
I'm not trying to pick on you here, but it sounds like you have never truly battled depression. In that case, it's easy to say "nothing is worth taking your life." For someone in a seemingly hopeless situation, and they're battling depression, there's plenty out there that makes it worth taking their life.
Unfortunately, it sounds like there were signs, but they went unnoticed.
It's a tough disease, and should be taken more seriously.
yeah if you're a pussy
