And even with his laziness and backfield dancing Maroney > Ben Jarvus Green got. The minute a defenders comes within 1 foot of green got he just falls down. Completely useless waste of a roster spot.
Just saying, used correctly, BJGE is valuable. But should he be taking carries away from Fred Taylor, though? no.

3 positive yards every time > losing yards half the time cuz you're juking around like a stupid n*gger
10 carries for 19 yards isn't 3 positive yards every time.
1.9 postive yards every time still > indecisive juking and fumbling on the goal line
At least when Maroney was in they were getting to the goal line. When Green got is at running back the defense can drop 8 into coverage since he falls down if the D-lineman makes any contact with him whatsoever.
Sorry but I'll take a hard worker with no talent over a serial underacheiver who has a knack for ing things up at the worst possible time.
Suit yourself. Yeah a scrub who works hard is a more likable guy but the fact is BJGE has nothing to offer and doesn't have the potential to ever have anything to offer.
the Jets, that rematch can't come soon enough.
Mono
seriously?
Last I checked BJGE doesn't fumble on the goal line incessantly, nor does he get hurt every other game, nor does he juke around and get stuffed for 4 yard losses nonstop.
Now that you told us what he doesn't do how about telling us what he does?
He does make positive contributions when given a limited role in the offense. He does hold onto the football when going over the goal line. He does hit a hole and get positive yards instead of dancing around. He does stay healthy. He does accept responsibility when he doesn't play well and avoids making excuses for his poor play. He does go into training camp with his mouth shut and working, instead of being lazy but telling the media how this will be his best year ever.
Regardless of Maroney, there's no readon BJGE should be on the team. Both Taylor and Morris are better inside runners, better outside runners, better blockers, better receivers outa the backfield, etc. BJGE gives the team absolutely nothing that Taylor and Morris don't.
You could say the same thing for most high school level running backs. When given a wide open hole, they all can get 3 yards then fall down.
the Maroney knobslobbers didn't give a about BJGE until their little underacheiver got dumped
now suddenly he's the reason the team sucks.
Most high school running backs also know to protect the ball when they get it at the goal line.
Belichick's overused of him had plenty to do with them losing to the Jets, and you'd have to be re ed to think otherwise.
I'm fine with the Maroney trade. They got a mid pick for it and it's not like Maroney was gonna put them over the top this year, it's more about the fact BJGE does nothing. He's the Pierre Woods on offense (who fortunately is FINALLY off the team).
how many PM's have you sent to Kori begging her to approve the troll?
That's my point. BJGE does nothing that the standard high school running back can't do.
zero contribution > negative contribution
Negative contribution doesn't make zero contribution excusable. Maroney is in the past, he's irrelevant to the fact BJGE has no place on this team.
Until Sunday, when he was admittedly overused, I don't know of anyone who though BJGE was some useless member of the team. In a limited role, he's been productive the last 2 seasons.
I think you have lost it.
It's not his fault he's on the field, we can't blame him for sucking when he's being misused. I don't think DOK is hating on him, just stating that there are better running options out there. To be honest I Like the kid because he seems like a blue collar player, the kind of true patriot we like. The problem is that he's a 3rd RB being used like a feature back
