Old news. That's been goin on forever. Give Rivethead: Tales from the Assembly Line by Ben Hamper a read. It's an odd combo of horrifying and hilarious.

That is just sad & terrible…
This is nothing new. My dad worked for GM for 43 years (although not on the assembly line) and he said you never wanted to buy a car that came off the assembly line on a Friday afternoon - because the workers got paid every Friday and they cashed their checks at lunch and then proceeded to have several beers before going back to work.
I think its safe to say every Ford I've ever owned was made on a Friday afternoon.
It is safe to say that most of us have owned Fords made on a Friday....lol
I have to admit...I was checking out a new 2011 F250 4X4 with the new diesel engine a few days ago and had lust in my heart....thats a NICE rig...that new motor doesn't even sound like a diesel and he's getting 20mpg when he's not pulling a trailer...
Nothing new. At least they were on their lunch hour. , if you really wanted to bust on the UAW, get a camera next to the time clock. 15% of UAW workers are only physically in the building maybe 5-6 hours a week.
Do you have to hire UAW in your business?
Unions engender a sense of en lement which engenders laziness.
