Wasn't that Nixon?
Wasn't that Nixon?
That's what I was thinking! Remember the WIN buttons?
*sigh* I hope you're not that old.![]()
Oops, you are correct. I didn't like Nixon either. I was too young to vote then.
Well that kind of sums up Carter in a nuts . He gets the blame for the inflation that was already present when he took office and gets no credit for starting the policy (through Volker) that eventually stopped it.
I honestly don't know what he should have done differently during his presidency other then not be such a downer when speaking.
and not talk about UFOs
and not let footage of the vorpal bunny attack get out.
and quit admitting to lusting in his heart.
Plus, they dressed their kid funny.

tbh I did too back then.
Obama is much closer to Bill Clinton, who also pissed off some of his base in his 8 years in office.
Except Bill was way more conservative, had a GOP-controlled congress, and a far better economy.
Other than that, exactly the same.

Didn't seem like such a ridiculous comparison to me.
With the GOP likely to take the House and approaching parity in the Senate, if Obama's unwilling to triangulate after November, he'll get very little done.
Bill Clinton didn't have a Republican controlled Congress the whole 8 years, Obama isn't any less moderate than Clinton, and the Republicans are using exactly the same tactics and language they tried to use against Clinton. Trust me, if Obama had the same weakness (sexy Jewish interns) as Clinton, we'd be talking about why Obama "did not have sex with that woman" right now and ignoring all the issues of this country.
Republicans haven't actually changed their strategy in 20 years, really since Barry Goldwater, yet when they've gotten into office they've blown up the deficit and created more poverty and more wars. Why anyone who isn't a millionaire votes for them anymore is beyond me. Millionaires I understand why they vote Repuglican - if they're selfish bags who only care about their wealth, to with the earth and everyone else. But the only reason others vote Repuglican is because they think someday they too will be able to be that rich, selfish bas .

And the only reason anyone votes for Dems is that people still labor under the delusion that being a Dem is somehow a corrective against being a rich, selfish bas . It isn't.
I want to go back to the policies that got us into this mess.!
Damn, Supergirl needs to be deprogrammed.
Just so she knows, I voted for Bill Clinton and I also voted for the current d-bag in chief.
I don't vote for someone just because they have an (R.) after their name. People that do that are called Democrats.
No, it hasn't.
and not telling people to be responsible. They don't like that.
Darrinbot's writer adds in the irony. 10/10
Yes, irony noted.
More win.I don't vote for someone just because they have an (R.) after their name. People that do that are called Democrats.
You fail.
You might want to go back and read your own post.
Without YouTubes and quoted columns, you're a lost little lamb.
