    D. Clarke Evan's Favorite Photos from 2009-10
by D. Clarke Evans, Spurs NBA/Getty Images Photographer

Here are my favorite photos form the 2009-2010 season. It's a lot of fun going through last years images and reliving a lot of moments.

For those who want to know, I typically shoot from 600 to 650 images a game, for the year – around 35,000 or so. The most I have ever shot was a Spurs and Mavericks game several years ago when I shot just over 1,100 images.

For the following images, sometimes it’s the moment, sometimes it’s just a creative shot a different angle, sometimes, I just like the shot.

It all begins with Timmy answering questions during training camp. Focus on something besides the obvious.

Duncan228, I once saw an article on all the gear that D. Clarke Evan used... do you know where I could find that, by any chance?

It would be nice if this photo guy would set up his cameras on the other side basket once in a while. He not only mounts his cameras and blocks the glass but there is a cover around the cameras to block reflections. To all of us who have tickets on the Spurs side of the court behind the basket it sucks not being able to see through the glass.

J.A. Adande of ESPN.com spent a game with Andrew Bernstein, the NBA's senior director of photos.

Snapshots: NBA photographer for a day
    By J.A. Adande

Ever wonder what it's like to be a courtside photographer at an NBA game? I had a chance to go shot-for-shot with one of the NBA's top picture-takers at a game last season.
