    Sure, you do.

Didn't you see teams fear David Clowney and Jerrico Cotchery early last year?

    No?

    Britt and Washington?

    No?

    Mason and Clayton?
The wideout-running game theory is also why teams like Indy, AZ, Houston and SD did so well running the ball last year.

DLF's ability to bully s is underrated. He must be a really nice guy tbh, because when he wants to he owns the outa people.

He had 1 TOUCHDOWN for all those catches.
Good point that I missed earlier.

You aren't considered an elite slot WR until you get to 3 TDs.

At least not in my book.

I'm guessing that having Joey Harrington, Gus Frerotte, post-injury Daunte and Cleo Lemon as his QBs had more to do with Welker's production in Miami than letters in the alphabet.

I do as of last week.

That site is no fun. I've already been warned.

    Here's a game:

    WR Targets:

    159
    76
    47

    Catch %

    57%
    48%
    42%

One of these guys blew in 2005. Can you guess which one it is?

or the fact that Gus Frerotte got Chris Chambers to his best season as a pro? Or the fact he led them to a winning record? Gus Frerotte gave Chambers 82 catches, 1,118 yards and 11 TDs. Welker blew that season. His only good season came the next year and it wasn't even that good. 67 catches and 1 TD, when all the coverage was going to Marty Booker and Chris Chambers. No one knew who the Welker was and didn't gameplan for him until the end of the year, where he had 9 catches over the last 5 games.
Were your expectations for an undrafted 1st/2nd year wide receiver really that high?

You might have the worst football knowledge in the NFL forum.

Also, since 67 catches and 1 TD is overrated and not that good, please explain why 76 catches and 2 TDs vaults you right behind the guy who you said wasn't that good when he did it.

    Thanks in advance.

Before you answer with your X, Y, Z, Welker was running alone on all routes because teams were rolling coverage to Marty Booker, I'll just say this:

The Pats gave up a 2nd and a 7th to get him and immediately extended him the next day.

    Was that move overrated?

As for 2005, he was the fourth option in the passing game and a 2nd year player learning the nuances of the pro game.

    What exactly did you expect?

Yes Blake. I had no expectations when he was a 2nd year WR on the Dolphins. But he has proven to be the best slot in his time in NE. But he still IS OVERRATED. People think he's one of the best ever and is a sure fire for the HOF.
if he stays healthy for a few more years, he is a HOF, idiot.

I doubt he gets into the HOF.

There are way too many HOF worthy WRs ahead of him on the outside looking in.

    Last 2 games of 2009.

    10 Catches for 103 yards.

    Postseason:

6 catches, 2 TDs against BALT.
    good three game sample.

I can see how you think his greatness far exceeds what Welker did in Miami.

If Welker stays healthy for a 15 year career, at his current pace of 76 receptions per year, he would currently finish 2nd all time. Even a 10 year career at that pace would put him in some pretty elite company.

I guess if guys like Cris Carter, Andre Reed and Tim Brown are still waiting, Wes will too.

So your saying Welker is one of the best ever? this is exactly the bull I am talking about. Overrated due to the slot position being glorified in the NE system.
    "If he stays healthy" yes.

It's not bull . You're just an idiot.

Maybe if you did anything with football or experienced it first hand at a high level, you would know something about it.

    Blake's wisdom of words...

    saying YPC > YAC

So apparently, Malcom Floyd, Mohamed Massaquoi, Patrick Crayton, Kenny Britt, Brian Hartline, Chris Chambers, and Hakeem Nicks are some of the best in the league?

Over Wes Welker, Miles Austin, Brandon Marshall, Andre Johnson, Greg Jennings, Hines Ward?
Saying either of those two things determines how good a player is just stupid.

You saying YAC > YPC means you love Welker, dumb .

saying that playing opposite of someone means physically playing on the opposite side.

Trying to say because Clark plays the Y means that he does not play opposite of Wayne because he lines up on the same side.

Holy no one that actually knows about football would never say such things.
Holy I never said such a thing.

No one actually thinks you know much about football other than what size jock strap Henne is wearing.

So Welker will be one of the best ever if he plays for another 6-7 years?

Lol I dont even need to refute that nonsense.
Lol he easily be top ten in career receptions at the current pace

    Lol nothing to refute

    You said I stated:

saying that playing opposite of someone means physically playing on the opposite side.

Trying to say because Clark plays the Y means that he does not play opposite of Wayne because he lines up on the same side.
    you confirmed I actually stated:

Who was Wayne's counterpart last year?
thanks for confirming that Clark does not always line up opposite of Wayne and that you are talking out of your ass.
You're apparently an illiterate dumb .

The continual self pwnage is entertaining though.
