I beat some dude yesterday who had his headset on and I got back to back pick sixes because he would do the same pass to Witten each ing time and it was obvious. As I'm running the 2nd one back he's like "this is some ing bull and there's no way that the skins would ever beat the cowboys" and then he just quits.

I don't get to play that often but man I love playing online when I get a chance. Game isn't that great but online is fun as still.

its so great when people quit after they burn all their timeouts and know you're just gonna sit on the ball while you run out the clock. why wait that long to quit if you're gonna play 95% of a full game and then up your DNF?

tbh, this game is too n00b friendly. The defense sucks azz. It's always a toss up whoever has the ball last wins.

I just lost to some scrub in OT. He was throwing to flats all game, i had about 6 dropped picks. It's 3rd down in OT, i put my guy in the flats, he throws it right through him to the HB who runs 70 yards for the game winner. I just LOL

I beat these same scrubs by 50 on ps2.

Yeah a lot less skill involved, of course I've gotten plenty of gifts as well against better players.

Overall I kinda like this arcade style of play but if you're playing someone who has any remote skill it's going down to the last posession. record practically means nothing.

Not really. Just run a cover 2 with blitzers from the edge. User control those CBs in the flat to shadow the RB going your way and bam over.

The bull is whoring slant routes. People play as Vick/Young and just wait until someone gets open in the zone when running across the field or that is always open in man.

I don't even worry about defense anymore. I just pick random plays and user random players and hopefully get a pick. I can probly count on one hand how many picks the CPU has gotten for me and still have a few fingers to spare

Good ing lord is it possible to play defense in this game? Man, blitz, zone absolutely nothing works so frustrating! I've never seen a Madden so ridiculous. It doesn't matter who I'm playing, they're freaking Peyton Manning. And when it goes to a defender, they don't do anything unless I have a user sitting right there.

I will literally suck someone's for some defensive help, this is crazy. I've never played a Madden game where defense is virtually nonexistent like this. Okay rant over

Defense on this game is really what separates the men from the boys. Do you usually control the MLB? Or a DB? DL? Let me know what you think your strength is and I'll give you as much help as I can but I don't want you to suck my . You can send me 20 bucks though.

For teams like the Colts that have a lot of good receivers and you know the people playing are going to pass a lot, you're gonna want to run almost exclusively man coverage with a healthy dose of QB spy on one or two players. There are a lot of good pass defense plays in the Jets D nickel sub package playbook.

I play 95% of my games as the Colts which means I usually only play against Baltimore, New Orleans, Dallas or Minnesota. Picking another team with against the Colts is a guaranteed loss on this game. This guy came really close to beating me with the Raiders but I found out in the 4th that he had switched Asomugha over to Austin Collie and my play wasn't working, so I just shuffled my WR depth chart and started hitting Wayne on all of Collie's routes on those plays, boom roasted. But on D most of the game I try to get to the QB with Freeney. Usually let Brackett sit back there in a spy and have everyone else playing man with the safeties in deep zones sometimes.

The way most people get yards on me is with the HB screen pass but I've gotten better at shutting that down by having 2 DBs cover the flats on the side he's throwing the screen too. But if you want some more tips tell me what kind of plays you are getting beat on and I'll give you some tips to stop those. I'm not like 150-10 or anything but I'm 30 games over .500 and I play all day so I'm good when I need to be. Most of my games have probably been won by stopping someone from scoring rather than having the ball last but some people are so good at this game you just gotta outscore em.

tbh, I've grown to really like the lack of defense, it really challenges you to mix up the defense. I use to be the cheeser that would run 1 defensive play all game and completely overwhelm people on 10. This game won't let you get away with that. Figure out what your opponent is doing, usually he has 2-3 bread and butter plays, recognize the formation and what he's doing and exclusively shut that down than go from there.

Just don't run the same defense over and over, lol I just played some scrub who ran the same cover 1 zone out of the 46 defense so all I did was streak 2 down the field and ended up with like 700 passing yards. Like JT said tho, some people are just too good and you have to get the ball last to win. I just throw everything at them and if I can't stop them, I just tip the cap. Don't get too frustrated

dubstep is pretty gay. its just techno for people with a hard on for bass. lotta my friends are listening to that crap and going to raves for it and . i just cant see how anyone thinks that is good after the ecstasy wears off.
