Frankly, I'm amazed that Anthony would be willing to go there. It's Siberia/American style.
He probably wants to go because they're moving to Brooklyn for the 2012 season. His endorsement money is going to shoot through the roof, and Denver is all downhill from here after they blew their chance in 2009.

Denver still hasn't signed off on deal and haven't shown other teams rush to do so. "They won't get a better deal," one involved exec says. less than 10 seconds ago via ÜberTwitter

The Nets want DJ Augustin as part of package, but two sources in process say it won't be a deal-breaker to keep them from getting 'Melo. 26 minutes ago via ÜberTwitter

NBA Draft 2003, finally the draft of supposed "superstars" run like little es to the next team or forcing their way out after failing with their own team.

    Nice.

They're reticent to part with Kirilenko. Sloan won't play/utilize him, but, he won't let another team do likewise.

    lmao!

Yer new so I'll clue ya in, Purch. I go by two rules here-a-bouts:

Rule Number One: I'll choose the time, place and inquisitor when I decide to take an exam.

Rule Number Two: Obey all rules.

Just curious did you watch the Jazz for most of last season when Ak was healthy?

Ak in the starting lineup last year:

    13/4/3 on 54%

And secondly do you know how rare it is for Ak to actually be healthy?

It hasn't been anything new, When Ak is healthy we win. It's just how often does that actualy happen. We've seen many flashes of the old Ak and we could probally see more if he actually decided to work out in the offseason.

Sloan has been screwing with Kirilenko since day one.

Only the $ has kept Kirilenko in check.

You mean the contract we payed for a prime Ak-47 who's never been the same? And has only shown flashes of being the same player during stretches of the season?

Healthy AK is still an allstar level player. Too bad he's never healthy.

Yea. Hopefully the FO is rethinking this trade like it said on twitter because this years Jazz team is loaded with potential to be a really great team.

^A course. Sloan doesn't want to end up with Kirilenko goin' elsewhere and provin' him the asshole he is. He won't play him and glean the goodness. Uh, uh. And he won't let anyone else either.

As far as i understand this would be a cost cutting move for the Jazz. So its not about talent.

Considering the direction the Jazz went this offseason it really wouldn't make sense unless they actually expect something from Diaw.

Melo because he wants to be the man wherever he goes he just doesn't have faith in Denver (which makes sense since the best thing they've done for him is trade for an old Chauncey Billups), Bosh because he's too ty to ever be the man on a team and would have had to have been someone's bag boy to be on a championship team. Lebron gets special criticism because he is undoubtedly good enough to be the undisputed best player on a le team, but he chose not to be.

Now is the best time to trade for Diaw, Utah's AK-47 for Diaw swap in this is gonna end up being a very under the radar savvy move.

Diaw has two years left on his deal, meaning this year he'll be motivated to play for an extension/he always plays well his first season on a new team, and the next season he'll be motivated with a contract year. The expiring contract on an injury prone player is a small price to pay for two motivated seasons outa Diaw. The only problem for Utah is they're going to need A LOT out of Hayward as a rookie.

I'm not even gonna lie when I say I know nothing about Diaw, In the least.
Except that he played well in the games I saw of France.
