    sorry to agree with the others but the two lines that are supposed to be "tim" have been marked heavy meaning they went over them more than once for some reason. there are key angles that duncans hand and mind are prone to using for instance the "N" in duncan the "D" has a very intricate curve that lands almost on the money to complete the remaining letter in duncan and the "C" he doesnt use sharp edges in his {uncan #21}

    also the fake thats on that jersey has these two curves at the beginning that make no sense as well as two sets of parallel lines that took time to make but have no real meaning to them so im sorry and just look at the number {#2} it is nothing like timmys signature

    I'm no Duncan expert like 228, but I have to agree with the other posters. That USA jersey sig appears to be a fake. I've been fortunate enough to meet Timmy by the tunnel a few times before Spurs games and none of the items he signed for me look anything like that USA jersey sig.

    It looks kind of similar, maybe he was a bit in a hurry when he signed that US jersey.

    Signatures also change over the course of a player's career. For example, DRob had a somewhat different sig when he was young than he does now. I have collected autographs for a long time and the truth is the ONLY way to know 100% absolute that an autograph is real is to see it signed yourself firsthand. Also if you have one of those insert bball cards that was signed for the company and issued as an autographed card that is guaranteed. Some players also sell their auto's through agencies that are certified. Anything bought on e-bay should be assumed to be fake.

    Another thing- there are autographs that I have obtained in person that do not look exactly like the usual autograph of that player. Sometimes players are in a hurry, or the object they are signing is shaped different, the pen is different, etc.

    It's always hard to know unless you get it in person or from someone you can trust. These were done at the same time and don't look exactly alike.

    Sorry for the size but the signature is clearer this way.

    Tim Duncan stopped signing autographs for sports companies and trading card companies about 7 years ago. Why? Because he doesn't want them making money off his signature.

    Tim does however sign for fans, or for people pretending to be fans as they are hard tell.

    And on top of all of the above, he does not sign the same thing twice the same way. Meaning he changes his style so it would be incredibly hard to authenticate a signature.

    If you want his real auto, look for merchandise (especially trading cards) dated 2003 and before.

    Who knows, they might do it different on certain days or change up the way they write them from month to month! I have a few sigs from the same guy (Dolphins reciever Mark Clayton) and they both don't look alike, but they are his.

    It's hard to really say unless it's certified or you get it yourself.

    Wow, those are truly remarkable.

    Thanks. Had the opportunity to talk to him after a practice for about 30 minutes. I asked him if he would personalize the home jersey to my son so I could hang it in his room and he did. Very cool person !

    He wrote God bless? Wasn't there a thread here a few months back questioning whether he was religious or not?

    Interesting.

    Good stuff
