lol when did he say that?
On second thought, I would add the Spurs to the list of contenders. With their addition of Bobby Simmons, their diversity is through the roof now.
I didn't say it, it's a quote. Most basketball fans should get the reference.
Actually you did say it, brah.
I have a feeling SA will be better than people expect, while ORL will be worse.
I think ohmwrecker may therefore very well be right.
I don't see what is so funny? Orlando isn't much better IMO. I think they are better as things stand right now, but it is not some monumental gap.
the spurs were better then orlando last year, so the suns were better then boston.. now follow me cause its about to get tricky. you carry the 2 then divide by 3.14 (pie) and multiply by 7 you quickly figure out that the lakers were better then boston and my formula along with ohmwreckers is correct also.
it really just comes down to basic math.. i mean at the end of the day thats all that really matters
I am not as high on Orlando as others. Lewis & Carter are not great 2nd & 3rd options. Obviously they are still a great team that will win games, but I have never really been sold on them.
My opinion has nothing to do with the spurs really. It has more to do with seeing Orlando winning a le.
ohmwrecker might as well be a bump troll
overreaction ... so a fan feels better about his team than he should ... not entirely threadworthy .... slow news day perhaps?
And your sold on a 50 win 7 seed?
Scrah, you obviously haven't read my posts upstairs.
The Magic are pretty much garbage, tbh. They are a distant third in the east. Their style works great in the regular season but in the playoffs when every team focuses on Dwight and all of his outside shooters are choking then it's cake.
And your "wins" argument is a really, really terrible one. Was Boston better than Orlando? Boston only had 50 wins as well. Were you sold on that 50 win team?
Just really bad logic.
So using two teams with an aging core that have won les and that each won 50 games that you use as a basis for your arguments is bad?
Your 50 win argument is the bad comparison. Yes Boston got to the finals, but how? They only had 50 regular season wins.
It's not nearly as bad as comparing a team that didn't win one single game past the 1st round to a team that was playing in game 7 of the NBA finals.
But how could a team with 50 wins get to the finals and be better than a 57 win team? Before the playoffs started, how could people be sold on a 50 win team in the east being better than Orlando?
