LOL@ Texas getting pistol whipped by surfers & hippies…![]()
You can say that about the TE position as well. And the offensive line.
your O line is just young and UT has had the worst luck with keeping TEs healthy. that kid from cibolo steel is going to be a starter as a freshman for sure.
No Vince Young, No Colt McCoy = Greg Davis exposed for what he really is
The offense that you're seeing on the field is a product of lacksadaisical recruiting efforts in 2006 and 2007. They're full of JAGs (Chiles, Kirkendoll, Mitc , etc.). You simply can't run a pro-style offense without the proper personnel. Almost everyone (besides Mack Brown and Greg Davis apparently) knew this experiment would blow up in their faces at some point during the season. Like I posted in an earlier thread, this offense is going through an iden y crisis and they're an absolute mess on that side of the ball. They're in a huge predicament at the moment because they have one of two options: a.) stick with an offense that's getting you nowhere b.) implement a new philosophy that you haven't practiced since the end of last season. They have a lot of soul-searching to do. Luckily, their defense is good enough to help them keep games close if they can keep the turnovers under control. This team might be 3-3 by mid October. The Horns got punched in the mouth on Saturday and it's exactly what this en led, undisciplined and sloppy team needed.

I would agree but I imagine they will probably be at Florida-Alabama.
lol @ Whisky ...... falls top 21 in the AP Poll. Brutality at its best.
I saw Malcolm Brown play a few weeks ago against Round Rock. Dude was a man among boys. Be interesting to see how he does against upgraded comp.
I think this loss was more painful for me than Rout 66. UCLA couldn't pass to save their lives and just ran a Nevada-lite attack right down UT's throat. They kept cracking all game and of course, that pitiful offense couldn't sustain a drive worth a pile of dog . At one time in the 3rd quarter I think UT's leading offensive threat was that zebra checking off penalty yardage.
I wonder if Sherrod was still on the team if Mack and Davis would have considered benching Gigi.
...and now that talent well is much, much more shallow. It's time to move on.
no idea what play you refer to - but there are always 11 (or less) guys on the field for an illegal subs ution. illegal participation requires 12.
You have no idea how drunk I was when I posted that or how little I care about it now, but thanks.
Your not doing anything to help yourself make the crew with comments like that I saidddddddddddd.
were you with whisky dog when he started this thread?
I would never have predicted that score.
That comment has dumped smegma all over your chances of getting into the mookie crew i saaaaaiiiiiiiiiddddd
