If Spurs are irrelevant like your dumbass thinks, why are you posting on a Spurs forum. You ?

Spurs as a team are irrelevant.

If as a fan I choose to rub that in to other fans that sure as does not mean I am concerned. What we all have to say as fans has no bearing on what will actually take place out on the floor.

The Spurs time has passed and I come here because I enjoy seeing lemmings jump off the cliff one by one.

I've pointed this out many times. It gives me a chuckle when I see the LA fans come on the Spurs part of the board to claim that the Spurs are "done" when, if we were, they wouldn't be here. it's the fact that the Spurs aren't done and Duncan and Co. have taken a on LA twice before, and have the four pieces that did it before still intact, that brings them here. it's like they're just affirming what they don't want to admit when they post. Lmao
Either that or they are closet Spurs fans!

Why argue w/laker fan when intent is to provoke and irritate? Spurs will be relevant as long as pop, duncan, ginobli are around. And many of us are here thru the good times & tough times. I doubt we'll see many of these "Laker fans" when their run ends.......and it will end at some point,
Sooner than they think, too. Wing players are notorious for spoiling quicker than big men, in an NBA sense.

It just might be the end of an era. It's all good though. Anything from here on out is just the cherry on the top.

Wow you found a goofy picture of Laker fan. You're right that must be me. If we really want to act "5 years old" I could just post a goofy picture I find on the internet of a Spurs dork and say it's you. Then you can do it back, then I can get you back on and on...

Or we can continue to talk basketball reasonably. Your choice.

Spurs aren't contenders this year no matter how you slice it.

    Lets slice it like this:

    - Fisher and Blake are much worse than Parker and Hill. Parker gets most minutes, Hill 15 minutes at PG, 15 at SG.

    - Gasol / Bynum / Odom were tough match-up, but not anymore with the addition of Splitter. Duncan / Splitter / Dice / Blair are around the same if not better.

    - Which leaves Kobe / Artest / Barnes vs. Manu / Hill / RJ / Simmons, which doesn't look so great for the Lakers either. Kobe and Manu have similar efficiency but Kobe can play around 10 mpg more. Hill is capable offensive and defensive player. RJ is better offensively than Artest, but Artest plays better defense. Barnes vs. Simmons, not so relevant. Lakers have some advantage, not by much.

    - Phil vs. Pop, Phil won most times, but with more talent. Pop won with less talented team once. With equal or perhaps inferior amount of talent, Phil isn't a sure bet.

    - Injuries could change the outlook dramatically for both teams.

These are the types of posts I love.

Fisher and Blake are "much worse" than Hill and Parker according to what? Statistics? Lol. Please.

    Duncan+Splitter+Blair+Dice are = or > than Gasol+Bynum+Odom??

Thanks for that laugh. And thanks for verifying that Spurs fans are by far the most delusional dumbest fans in all pro sports.

And the guard / wings? We have Kobe Bryant. You don't. We win, you lose, it isn't even close.

But aside from playing this "trading card" mentality exercise you initiated; Lets talk about the game realistically. It's about how the pieces fit together as a unit both offensively and defensively and how high that level of play can reach collectively NOT side by side roster comparisons.

The Lakers are the creme de la creme, as good as it gets in the NBA. The Spurs are bunch of has-beens whose time has passed and are desperately trying to cling to past glory.

Parker is 28, elite PG, 3 times all star, all-nba, finals MVP.

Hill averaged in his second season 12.4 ppg.
Fish averaged more than that once in his 14 years as pro. BTW, he's only 36?
    And Blake, well never.
Hill is also way better defensive player than both.

Better don't write about delusion and stupidity. . .
