Good for him. Theres a lot of unfunded, non-legislated mandates that comes out of the Executive Branch (both Republican and Democrat) that State Governors across the country need to face Washington, flip them the finger and tell them to go to .
"As your governor, you're going to be seeing a lot of me on the front page, saying 'Governor LePage tells Obama to go to .'"
-- Maine gubernatorial candidate Paul LePage (R), quoted by the AP.
Yeah, now we just do like this.

Easier to shoot your mouth off and pander to inbred, ignorant, pissed-off loser, childish red-staters, bubbas, less gun fetishists than actually solve real problems and advance your electorate's lives.
"United we stand, divided we fall" used to mean something.
The Repugs and conservative have divided and polarized America for 35 years, into Have and HaveNots. America is falling.
For them, "united we stand" is socialism.
United We Stand...that was America's slogan for a week after 9/11, don't you remember? It wasn't a problem for the GOP then, don't see why it's a problem now.
There's nothing wrong with polarization as long as you are on the side with 51% majority. It's sad to see people wanting to discuss politics without embracing the reality of politics. If any bozos want to talk about ethics, job priorities, etc...rename this section Public Service and Civic Responsibility.
Remember when governing was part of being an elected official?
Not really. When was this?
Actually you're right. I don't remember it either but I think from all accounts in our not too distant past (within 30 years - the Reagan years at least) the parties actually tried to work together to govern. Elected officials exist not merely to be elected. Governing is a secondary concern.

I think the Movement Conservatives and VRWC, started back in the 1970s, then got into power with ridiculous St Ronnie, have as a strategy non-cooperation, obstructionism, demonization, polarization, eliminationism.
It's 100% bad faith and ill will to anybody and everything they don't agree with.
And it's 100% politics all the time, never about governing competently. Government is nothing but their ATM to be pilfered and looted for transferring tax payer wealth to the corps and wealthy.

Sounds exactly like you.
I just wish politician A telling politician B to 'go to ' wouldn't even make the news. Where's the substance in that?
I know... wishful thinking...
Thank you.
GFY
I won't make the Magic Negro strategic error of returning good faith and compromise to the Repugs' non-stop bad faith and divisiveness.
You must be under 40.
