Spurs-Mavs Series 2010

I had a pretty lazy day today, surfed a little bit on youtube and found the complete games 2,3,4 and 6 (=our wins) on youtube.

Although training camp has begun and the end of the offseason finally is in sight, if anybody wants to shorten the remainder of the offseason, here you go:

Game 2:

I was so pumped after game 6


Not only had we beaten the L.A Lakers twice in the 2nd half of the regular season, including a 19 pt win @ Staples without T.P , but we finally eliminated our nemesis in the 1st round

Then I thought we would destroy the Suns in the Semis...

I just finished game 3. Tomorrow I'll watch games 4&6 and I can't wait to see Dirk's fouls against Hill again.

What series against the Suns are you talking about? Didn't we just stop after playing after the Dallas series?

Even though the series after this was a nightmare, I still felt proud of the Spurs. They looked like first round exits last year and a 7th seed never beated a 2nd seed ever.

Hill really broke out of his s . McDyess was playing awesome defense on Dirk. RJ had a pulse. The Big 3 were playing well together for the first time in a while.

Plus it was nice to shut up Jason Terry and Mark Cuban.

That series win against Dallas was a nice one, I honestly didn't think the Spurs had it in them. A real reversal the next round, I thought that would be a Spurs win quite comfortably. Wouldn't of mattered anyway, the Lakers would have crushed us.

Also, Goran Dragic is a bad man.

Game 4 of this series was easily my favorite. Even though the big 3 had bad games, there is something about younger supporting cast players such as Hill and Blair making a huge impact on games that just energizes you watching the game at home and the crowd attending the game in person.

I don't think so, we matched up pretty decently with the Lakers, a lot better that against the Suns for sure. I think a Lakers/Spurs series would have ended 4-2, all tight games.
