I Was 10 years old and in the 5th grade back in 1995 when my brother put on a cassette of E. 1999 Eternal. I actually prefer the radio version of First of Tha Month. This is probably my favorite rap album.

I always hear people talking about their old stuff but never their new stuff. For good reason too.
I've seen them play house of blues new orleans twice this past year. Very impressive for a "rap concert."
well radiohead is making me feel emo for some reason
"For tha love uh money"
"Its tha first of tha month"
.......................man, those were the days.
Most rap sucks now adays...........no creativity what so ever.
yea, and songs called "For tha love uh money" and "Its tha first of tha month" are so in creative.
....................STFU youngster when grown folks are talking.
Those are just the les mo-ron. Their lyrics were![]()
How many emo songs do they actually have? How To Disappear, and Creep are the only two to come to mind.
the boner thugs suck and always have sucked. I'll never for the life of me understand what people consider so special about the re ed pop-rap hybrid garbage they produce. They're basically the black eyed peas without Fergie.
Hybrid music is god-tier, bro. Nu-Metal.
Sorry, I don't understand people when they speak in hipster.
1st of the Month ain't rap, but I wouldn't expect UTSA grads to be able to comprehend the difference between rapping and (very lousy) singing.
if I remember you're also one of the few who recognizes that bone thugs music is not rap.
I dunno, the E.1999 Eternal album catches my ear. Catchy to me at least. Don't know about that Black Eyed Peas comparison.
Ahhhhh excuse me...............Hip-Hop
If someone was actually there at the time when Bone Thugs first appeared, they were one of the top Hip-Hop groups period. Anyone dissin them was way too damned young............and only knows about Drake, Lil Wayne ........![]()
i can never get sick of classic bone thugs, E.1999 stayed in my cd player for my middle school and high school years.. crossroads hit hard in my friends bronco lol
Best to listen to when blazin.. And You Know Thiss Mann!
+1 I still remember the first time I heard them and saw their video. The next day they were all we talked about in school with that thuggish ruggish bone song. They were awesome, 90's rap/hip-hop/ > 2000's crap hop.
Edit: It was in Junior High 8th grade. Fun times with awesome music.
Edit Edit: Now I had to burn a copy of E.1999 album just to have in my car.
oh look, it's a guy saying older music is better than current music. cool original comment bro. I bet it made your small wang tighten up with excitement typing that.
501 I'm only 12 and in the 7th grade, but I can understand this good music. Most of the people in my class listen to bad music like lil' wayne, kesha, lady gag and justin bieber. I wish they undestood good music.
244 oh look! X amount of people missed the like button!
an actual comment I saw on a slipknot video someone posted in a /mu/ thread that had like 2543 likes and 156 dislikes.
"mom, I'm goin outside!"
"why"
"to kill 156 beiber heads"
"can you kill them by yourself?"
"don't worry I have 2543 people with me!"
roflroflroflrofl
I saw that exact post on some video today. Wasn't slipknot.
