theres a few nerds in the nba, i wonder who has the hardest course...
We can never have too many Matt Bonner threads right?Duncan's response to Matt Bonner's ranking:
“I think it's crap,” Tim Duncan said. “If I wasn't top 10, he shouldn't be 19.”
“They tell me I was 21,” Duncan said. “Right on the cusp.”

Matt Bonner's agent is ranked #1 among agents...
Of course Fitzpatrick is on there, he went to Harvard.
He knows a lot about sandwiches . . .
Cool to see Brent Barry being mentioned as the smartest player that Shane Battier and Matt Bonner has played with (although he listed Duncan as well); Pau Gasol listed Battier and they didn't have this part for Grant Hill.
I do hope it was just a joke by Tim.
(if he spend less time on computer games and instead takes some book recommendations from Matt - Foer is a great read to start with - he would be top 10 I guess)
I'm pretty sure it was just a joke. It's really typical of Tim's sense of humor.
If hes so smart, why does he play so dumb on the court?![]()
Meh. I think he's kind of heavy handed with the comedy. It seems forced. Modern writers are overrated because there just aren't that many that are very good.
It's like Einstein. He was so smart he forgot to tie his shoes. With Bonner he's so smart he forgets he's playing basketball.
LOL @ this angle. He was on a le team, but he didn't accomplish anything.• On-court accomplishments: 1-time NBA champion
He played 0 minutes in the finals, and only 25 the entire playoffs, usually in massive blowout garbage time.
What did you want them to say: "Plays occasionally for no clear reason"?
Too bad he sucks as a basketball player.
Yeah, he sucks so bad he's a multi-millionaire.
it just pisses me off he didnt follow through with his aspirations to become a professor!!!
You mean like Jerome James?
Ehhhhhhhhh no need, he is already set for life and let Matt have the ranking because Tim is 500 times the player he is and thats all that matters here.Thats our stupid teams fault for signing him to that contract![]()
Now he's jerome james?
Do you people honestly hear yourselves?
Did you read what I was responding to?
The notion that being a multi-millionaire trumps sucking as a basketball player is obviously re ed, as Jerome James, and others, have clearly demonstrated.
Seriously... Jerome James has actually had a good playoff series in his career.
lol and that is my main Bonner critique. Jerome James has at least had one good playoff series like you said and as bad as Jerome has been since then Matt Bonner still hasn't done anything as good in the playoffs. Jerome James has helped his team win a series. Has Matt Bonner come anywhere near doing that? Being a difference maker?
Matt Bonner....is allergic to Playoff success.![]()
nate robinsons a gamer geek. don't know if that makes him a nerd or even makes him smart
