Meaning the movie will be entirely in slow motion and boring as .
not looking good. maybe it will have a mass of flying owls
I just love how every Snyder movie is advertised as "visionary" which is code for "he loves pointless slow motion shots"
Or littered with CGI owls.

Dammit. Knew I shouldn't have taken the time to get a picture.
I took my daugther to this over the weekend. It was completely predictable, but I've sat through much, much worse from a kids movie perspective.
Yeah that's cool and all but you missed the biggest news.
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/...943e504d1d5404Goyer is writing the script, which, like "Superman Returns," is rumored to have a connection to Richard Donner's "Superman" films. In this case, it's the villain, General Zod.
ZOD!!!

Or, I guess under Snyder's direction it would be
ZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHD!!!
why are the villains in superman series are lame man....
another superman?
so is this another reboot, 2-3 years after the failed superman returns reboot?
or a sequel to that reboot?
"This is madness!"
"Madness? THIS IS SMALLVILLE!"
this is the reboot after the reboot. it's like how The Situation puts on The Shirt Before The Shirt except not at all.
Snyder is probably the only guy they could have hired to get me to see a Superman movie.
DC is weaksauce but Snyder will bring the goods.
by "the goods" do you mean characters devoid of any real emotion and lots and lots of slow motion?
Superman moving at lightspeed moving in slow motion seems to me would be the bads
it also seems to me Snyder would have been better at bringing the goods doing a dark Batman movie
I guess at least we don't have George Clooney bringing the uglies to batman any more.
...and will likely feature Superman in a newly designed outfit where he is bare chested and oiled up.

If he makes another sex scene like the one in Watchman it'll be worth it.
I've never read the Watchmen comic books and heard kind of mixed reviews going in, and I ended up really liking Watchmen. Probably my low expectations and lack of knowledge of how good the comic was supposed to be helped. But I thought the psychology of the Dr. Manhattan character was interesting and the Comedian was pretty badass.
I was just thinking that. We're long overdue for a gratuitous Superman/Lois love scene.
I actually liked the way Snyder framed the shots and slow-motion in Watchmen to mirror the graphic novel. He may have done the same thing with 300, but since I hadn't read 300 when I saw it, I found it annoying in that film.
Interesting. His next movie coming out is an original story called Suckerpunch, and looking at the trailer it will either be one of the most bat crazy yet insanely cool movies released or just an unintelligible mess:
Seriously. An insane asylum, samurai, world war 1 trenches, dragons, gangsters, and a burlesque show? If he can pull this off why not give him a shot at Superman?

* just added Watchman to my Netflix list *
"subtle" is definitely not in his vocabulary.
