I'd get a droid if i was buying again. I've always been a mac user but the iPhone 4 sucks compared to my lady friends droid. She gets better reception and a lower monthly rate.

A friend of mine is having a problem with the proximity sensor and it's driving him crazy. It's the sensor that determines when you hold the phone up to ear. The screen should go black when it's by your ear but his doesn't and it's causing all sorts of problems for him. He's thinking about raising alot of and getting his money back for it. I told him "good luck". All phones have their quirks.

I have a similar problem with my droid sometimes.

I've enjoyed my iPhone 3GS quite a bit, but I'm probably jumping to a Droid when my contract is up. I've played around with a couple and I like them much better.

I don't like the iPhone 4's design, either... I prefer the older style (3GS and previous) that forms to your hand better.

theres currently a hack in CHINA that turns the itouch to a iphone...basically some add on chip to the itouch which allows it to make calls...

You can use Fring on Android and iPhone to video chat with each other, but the quality isn't as great.

We used both Quik and Facetime side by side to compare the quality and all of us agreed that Facetime was clearer. That's probably why it was designed to be used with Wifi, to allow for a better call quality.

But Fring does a pretty good job, but the ability to let you talk across phone platforms is a huge plus.
