LMAO, are you drunk? You know I didn't post that, right? DeadlyDynasty posted that. Have another one.
    Are you that in' stupid?

    I directly quoted Dynasty.

Why would you think I would be replying to you when a quote of yours is nowhere in my reply?

    Dumb Lakers fan

No wonder you think me not recognizing a picture of Mike Bloomfield that looks nothing like other pictures of him is some kind of victory for you.

He was talking to me dumb . But you're a Lakers fan, so I know reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.

    And this:

    Does not look like this:

Until you prove otherwise, that abomination in your album is you as far as I'm concerned.

    LMAO!!!

I'm going to take that as a desperate attempt on your part to save face now.

Of course it's Bloomfield, I took that picture in 1969. Suck on this: taken the same night.

I don't care what you say, you have owned yourself... and have proven to be a moron who speaks on subjects he knows jack about.

Bottom line with me is - you insulted somebody (a dead musician) you knew nothing about. I know enough about you now. If History2b is next, it's not "looking good" for you. lol

    Taken the same night?

What did he do? Lose or grow three inches of hair by the time you took the candid?

That picture looks NOTHING like all the other Bloomfield pictures I've seen. Doesn't even look like the guy on stage, which DOES look like Bloomfield.

Lol. You were probably a Bloomfield fan who tried to imitate his look, but couldn't quite pull it off because of your lower primate features.

lol. Embarrassed that you like an orangutan, so now it's "Mike Bloomfield."

Nope! It's the Electric Flag with Buddy Miles on drums. Bloomfield on guitar. Nick Gravenites vocals.

I can only "take your word for it" that they were taken the same night. You have no empirical proof, and until you show differently, you're the primate looking mother er in the album.

No, PBBB went on for a while after BLOOMFIELD left.

Elvin Bishop stepped up and took BLOOMFIELD's place in PBBB. Paul also did 'Better Days' album but that was with Amos Garrett on guitar.

Elvin Bishop's in' garbage, too. They may have all the tech skill in the world, but I find their brand of blues (along with SRV and Thorogood) extremely bland and soulless.

But you obviously dig soulless things. It's why you're a Lakers fan.

Even DeadlyDynasty, a Bloomfield fan, didn't recognize the - ted primate in your album as Mike Bloomfield.

Oh, and did I hurt your feelings when I called Bloomfield an orangutan? I'm sawry

    No, you hurt yourself. LOL

Wah, wah, wah bottom line you whomped yourself and now try to save face by saying oops I didn't recognize him. Lol, of course you didn't, you wouldn't recognize soul if it popped you in the kisser.

Did I ever say anything about Elvin Bishop's playing style? NOPE. DidI ever say I liked his style? Nope. I mentioned that he replaced Bloomfield when Bloomfield left PBBB.

Seems like you are a never-was-never-will-be hater who can't recognize talent if it slapped you in the kisser so you feel the need to call your superiors "garbage".

Poor sap, you have taken quite a beating from me tonight.

    Now back to you go.

That's just ignorant, but that's why you're a Spurs fan...see, I can draw unrelated correlations to sweeping generalizations too! yay!

Thorogood is a turd I'll grant you, but to call SRV soulless is just plain ing stupid. Sure, he's overrated by a lot but making statements like that just hurts your credibility. And just b/c you know some earlier blues music, it doesn't make you special.

Just b/c somebody was the first to do something it doesn't mean they were the best at it. Different genres of music have been integrated and redone in better ways by various artists. You may not like something, but you still can appreciate (or understand) what makes it good. For instance, I don't like San Antonio...I thought there brand of basketball was extremely boring to watch, but I could appreciate their defense and playoff mettle (something you are unable to reciprocate to the Lakers). Just b/c you don't like something it doesn't mean it sucks and is soulless

    Cool story.

But you might've missed the part where I stated "I find," which doesn't even imply I'm making an absolute statement, but only stating my opinion.

I don't not like SRV. And I find his style to have a very studio, manufactured sound.

Fair enough, i thought you were just being a blind hater. His live at montreux performance was pretty damn good imo. Are you one of those purists that hates studios and synth and all that jazz (no pun)? Not hating, just curious.

Good music is good music, and new and different technologies adversely affect it for better or worse. Some people still hate Dylan for going electric and that was 45 years ago...

No. If it works, it works.

I prefer a minimal, down home, atmospheric style of Blues, rather than the kind of guitar masturbation that characterizes such artists as SRV. I like dirty, crunchy, grimy blues. For modern Blues musicians, these are some of my favorites:

And if white boys are gonna play the Blues, give me Jack White, The North Mississippi Allstars, and The Black Keys.
