Yes, that is a "very studio manufactured" sound... lol.
If you don't like that SRV style, cool, that's fine - most of his playing is not for everybody.
But LMAO, SRV has a "very studio manufactured" sound? Are you confused? SRV had a very LIVE sound, not studio. If you ever saw him live, instead of talking out of your rear, you would know this.

"Never gonna give you up," and "These Days" are quintessential blues inspirations. Love those 2 songs, and love that album
Here's some Mississippi John Hurt if you ever liked him...
Compared to the blues I listen to, Stevie Ray Dead might as well have a studio sheen to his music. I like juke joint type of Blues. Not the stadium style (and yes, I know he played to relatively small audiences) Blues that SRV puts out. To me, SRV is the kind of Blues a yuppie listens to feel hip.
Maybe the better word is "generic."
Lol. Soccer mom "blues."
Maybe a better term would be "Vegas Lounge Act?" That's the feeling I get when I watch Stevie.
I might be inclined to agree with you as I never stated "Cold Shot" was a mean grimy blues song, but for you to to say it's a studio manufactured sound just showed how little you really know about music, much less anything about playing an instrument. . .
I have you pegged. You can continue banging now![]()
I would call Stevie a glorified Saloon player (because I've seen him LIVE and can speak from experience while you speak from your rear).
I've taught you enough for the night, midnightpulp.

Um, when most of my Stevie Ray Vaughan listening experience came by way of Texas Flood, a studio album, then how am I off base in describing his music as having a "studio sound?" And I'll take back the term "manufactured." That was incorrect. Let's replace it with "generic."
And his live performances didn't captivate me enough to jump on his bandwagon.
And yes, yes, I know. He's technically great, blah, blah, blah. I'm not a guitar player, so I couldn't care less about his proficiency. I listen to music instead of intellectualize it, and Stevie has never stirred me.
Wow. You know more about SRV than me!
That's not something I'd necessarily be proud of, to be honest.
And what is a lounge if not a glorified Saloon?
Thanks for agreeing with me, got. Guess we both feel the same way about SRV.

rofl! That's exactly what you do and it makes you sound like a total . lol music lovers. lol using other peoples' artistic creations to express your own individuality.Get a life, loser!
lol mookie crew.
lol "scoffing."
lol mouthbreather.
not disagreeing with me is agreeing with me, so glad we could come to an agreement on you being a got loser who cares too much about music![]()
Sure it is. Only in the mind of a mookie crew cuckold.
Fact is you got butthurt because I talked about "Texas Legend" Stevie Ray Vaughan.
yes SRV is badass but I could care less what some laker thinks about him. I'm mainly interested in your, and others', habit of talking about music like it is some sort of advanced subject. Knowing so much about a subject that there is so little to know about is really funny. Pretty gay hobby to have imvo
edit: you're not a lakerfan..... why you actin like one?![]()
Laker ? Lol. If you were half the troll you think you are, you'd recognize the irony in my avi and signature, which features perennial underachiever Elden Campbell and a dumb Cholo Laker fan, respectively.
And me saying that I find SRV's music to have a "Vegas Lounge Act" quality would appear advanced to a member of the "mookie crew," when in fact, it's a very easy to understand analogy.
For god's sake, you dolts can recite Robocop 2 verbatim, so I'm not surprised music discussion would seem "gay" to you.
I don't act like a Lakers fan, actually.
My avi and sig are done with the intent of insulting Lakers fans.
I do not see sigs and avatars on my phone.
midnight pulp just sounds like a lakerfan name to me for some reason and all this yuppie talk about "oh my musical taste is more advanced than yours for these reasons" (lol) made me think you were from sissy lala land
lame hobby imvo. Do you give mix tapes as birthday and Christmas presents?![]()
I actually never said that. I simply said that I do not like Stevie Ray Vaughan's brand of blues. Try to keep up.
You said it in so many words and when you're not sayin it, you're thinkin it. lol
such a progressive music lover, unrivaled musical tastes, you must live in austin![]()
